Erica Jong - blood in the streets - Another diva??? Heh!!

The above picture is 36 years old, so heaven knows what she looks like now.

I suppose she is best known for "Fear of Flying," a book that I confess I never read so I won't comment on. I know of no particular success she has enjoyed since then, falling into what I call the "one hit wonder" category of authors, musicians and singers.

The question is, where do these aging divas come from, and why do they get press time?

Better yet, why doesn't someone condemn her for saying such things as she said as encouraging violence. Or is it only Sarah Palin who can do that??

Erica Jong Tells Italians Obama Loss 'Will Spark the Second American Civil War. Blood Will Run in the Streets'

The record shows that voting machines in America are rigged."

"My friends Ken Follett and Susan Cheever are extremely worried. Naomi Wolf calls me every day. Yesterday, Jane Fonda sent me an email to tell me that she cried all night and can't cure her ailing back for all the stress that has reduces her to a bundle of nerves."

"My back is also suffering from spasms, so much so that I had to see an acupuncturist and get prescriptions for Valium."

"After having stolen the last two elections, the Republican Mafia…"

"If Obama loses it will spark the second American Civil War. Blood will run in the streets, believe me. And it's not a coincidence that President Bush recalled soldiers from Iraq for Dick Cheney to lead against American citizens in the streets."

"Bush has transformed America into a police state, from torture to the imprisonment of reporters, to the Patriot Act."

The very best thing that can happen is for these people to get as much time in the public eye as possible!

Obama shuts off press coverage... can you spell dictatorship???

ACHTUNG! ACHTUNG!!

NO QUESTIONS ARE PERMITTED!!! PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE TRAIN AND BOX CARS!!

The Obama campaign has decided to heave out three newspapers from its plane for the final days of its blitz across battleground states -- and all three endorsed Sen. John McCain for president!

The NY POST, WASHINGTON TIMES and DALLAS MORNING NEWS have all been told to move out by Sunday to make room for network bigwigs -- and possibly for the inclusion of reporte
rs from two black magazines, ESSENCE and JET, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

If you haven't figured out what Hussein will do if elected this should give you a clue.

And the above is after they shut down the Flordia paper for asking questions they dislike.

Who is Grace Jones?

And why should I care that she doesn't like Governor Palin??

Jamaican-born disco diva Grace Jones said she was sorry Hillary Clinton had failed to make the cut in the US election and that she "can't stand" folksy vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

The 1980s style icon, now 60, told German magazine TV Spielfilm Wednesday that Palin stood for a backward vision of America laden with government restrictions of sexuality and social behaviour.

Link

And why is she a diva, much less worthy of anyone paying attention to her politics?

In 1981, Jones slapped chat show host Russell Harty across the face live on air after he turned to interview other guests and she felt she was being ignored...

In 1973, Jones played the role of Mary, a drug courier in Harlem in the film Gordon's War. Jones' work as an actress in mainstream film began with the role of Zula, the Amazon in the 1984 film Conan the Destroyer alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and NBA legend Wilt Chamberlain. She next landed the role of May Day in the 1985 James Bond movie A View to a Kill.

Link

It must be the body of serious artistic work she has completed....

No.....perhaps it is this...

Jones recorded two albums during the 1990s but they remain unreleased thus far

I think we can make that an aging diva..

On TalkLeft, a left wing blog I sometimes hangout at one of the commentators opined that Joe the Plumber's foreign policy/political opinions are equal to are better than the average icon "star" of the Left. I think his moniker is WileCoyote.... I know he was right.

Australia gets Internet censorship ready

The road to hell is always paved with good intentions.

If they can block these then they can block anything. That would also be news amd information critical of the government.

AUSTRALIA will join China in implementing mandatory censoring of the internet under plans put forward by the Federal Government.

The revelations emerge as US tech giants Google, Microsoft and Yahoo, and a coalition of human rights and other groups unveiled a code of conduct aimed at safeguarding online freedom of speech and privacy.

The government has declared it will not let internet users opt out of the proposed national internet filter.

The plan was first created as a way to combat child pronography and adult content, but could be extended to include controversial websites on euthanasia or anorexia.

Communications minister Stephen Conroy revealed the mandatory censorship to the Senate estimates committee as the Global Network Initiative, bringing together leading companies, human rights organisations, academics and investors, committed the technology firms to "protect the freedom of expression and privacy rights of their users".

First October snow in London since 1922

Is it possible that God is trying to send us a message?

You know, it just can't get any better than this when the Brit's government is
debating on how to screw their economy even further up we have this:

Snow fell as the House of Commons debated Global Warming yesterday - the first October fall in the metropolis since 1922. The Mother of Parliaments was discussing the Mother of All Bills for the last time, in a marathon six hour session.

The US Senate has Senator James Inhofe, but in the Commons, there wasn't an out-and-out sceptic to be found. It was 90 minutes before anyone broke the liturgy of virtue. When Peter Lilley, in amazement, asked why there hadn't been a cost/benefit analysis made of such a major change in policy, he was told to shut up by the Deputy Speaker.

This is known as the Idiot Leader Syndrome.

Recently the American media has begun to notice the odd incongruity of saturation media coverage here which insists that global warming is both man-made and urgent, and a British public which increasingly doubts either to be true. 60 per cent of the British population now doubt the influence of humans on climate change, and more people than not think Global Warming won't be as bad "as people say".

This is known as the People Are Smart Syndrome.

Both figures are higher than a year ago - and the poll was taken before the non-summer of 2008, and the (latest) credit crisis.

In Seattle those are known as Green Tomato Summers. And I think everyone noticed the economy going belly up.... Except the House of Commons.

Arugula and Marxism. The Obama story

- On a sunlit Friday afternoon in July, Barack Obama stopped by Beverly Van Fossen's farm in Adel, Iowa, to speak about "rural issues." It was standard Hawkeye State stumping—until the senator took a stab at sympathizing with farmers whose crop prices have stagnated. "Anybody gone into Whole Foods lately and see what they charge for arugula?" he asked.

Unfortunately, Adel isn't exactly arugula country. "Someone near me whispered, 'What's arugula?' " says Van Fossen, 74. " 'You can't find that in Iowa'." Same goes for Whole Foods. The closest locations, reported The New York Times that evening, are in Omaha, Neb.; Kansas City, Kans., and Minneapolis. Whoops. Right-wing bloggers pounced. The dishy Wonkette called Obama a "super rich Ivy League elitist." Peter Feld, a former Michael Dukakis staffer, wrote on Powers-Point.com that a similar slip by his ex-boss—the suggestion that Iowans grow "Belgian endive"—surfaced repeatedly in 1988 attack ads. C'est la vie politique.

The above was written about 15 months ago during the primaries.

But it hasn't gone away. From arugula to bitter red necks clinging to their guns and religion to his laughing at Joe the Plunber while pushing his Marxist agenda we have come to know him.

Michelle and Lobster - Update

Or.... Do as I say, not as I do.....

Or... You can take the girl out of Chicago but you can't take Chicago out of the girl..

Or... I think a nice Chardonnay... say a Marquis de Laguiche Joseph Drouhin Montrachet 2004... Only $950 US. Would go well, don't you?

Hat tip to Jimmy M!

UPDATE - weeder gander advises that the Lady Michelle was not at the Waldorf.. OK.

In the interest of fairness I will take this down when all the posts are taken down that accused Palin from claiming her daughter's baby as her own....that she banned books...that she called Hussein "Sambo".....that her religion is like witchcraft... and that Cindy McCain's Repub Convention out cost thousands... I could name more but you get the idea...

In the meantime just ignore the receipt.... But not what she said because that is not disputed... and it matches Hussein's Marxist philosophy..

The question is, who is the "somone" going to be who will have to give up something.

And I know damn well for sure that it won't be Lady Michelle or The Messiah Hussein.

More proof that Obama is a socialist

And now we have this as another proof the Hussein is a Socialist. This is from the election endorsements of the Chicago Democratic Socialists of America. Note what they say about him.

Barack Obama

Barack Obama is running to gain the Democratic ballot line for Illinois Senate 13th District. The 13th District is Alice Palmer's old district, encompassing parts of Hyde Park and South Shore.

Mr. Obama graduated from Columbia University and promptly went into community organizing for the Developing Communities Project in Roseland and Altgeld Gardens on the far south side of Chicago. He went on to Harvard University, where he was editor of the Harvard Law Review. He graduated with a law degree. In 1992, he was Director of Illinois Project Vote, a voter registration campaign that made Carol Moseley Braun's election to the U.S. Senate much easier than it would have been. At present, he practices law in Judson Miner's law firm and is President of the board of the Annenberg Challenge Grant which is distributing some $50 million in grants to public school reform efforts.

What best characterizes Barack Obama is a quote from an article in Illinois Issues, a retrospective look at his experience as a community organizer while he was completing his degree at Harvard:

"... community organizations and organizers are hampered by their own dogmas about the style and substance of organizing. Most practice ... a 'consumer advocacy' approach, with a focus on wrestling services and resources from outside powers that be. Few are thinking of harnessing the internal productive capacities, both in terms of money and people, that already exist in communities." (Illinois issues, September, 1988)

Luckily, Mr. Obama does not have any opposition in the primary. His opponents have all dropped out or were ruled off the ballot. But if you would like to contribute to his campaign, make the check payable to Friends of Barack Obama, 2154 E. 71st, Chicago, IL 60649. If you would like to become involved in his campaign, call the headquarters at (312) 363-1996.

Now I know, I know Hussein hasn't said he is a Socialist. (I think he is a radical Marxist.)

I am sure the CDSA endorsed him because he opposed their agenda.

hehehe

Hat tip to NewsBusters.

Palin hanged but nothing unusal in that...

That's nothing.

Out in Gollywood some yo-yo made a model of Governor Palin and hung it from their home.

Yet the same people say you can't talk about Ayers and Hussein because that is racist and incites Repubs to do evil things.

I wonder if any of these people can spell "hypocrites." That's not a question.

But that is just par for the Left.

Click on this link and watch the peace loving Demo Left burring an American soldier in effigy.

That piss you off?

Well, you won't enjoy this New York Times story of a Leftie trying to spit on a disabled vet...

And then we have this from the Daily KOS via the WSJ.

That said, I feel nothing over the death of merceneries [sic]. They aren't in Iraq because of orders, or because they are there trying to help the people make Iraq a better place. They are there to wage war for profit. Screw them.

You know it takes special people and great courage to do things like the above...Reminds me of a famous Lion of movie fame...

"Put'em up..... Put'em up...."

Too bad Toto isn't around to chase them behind Dorthy's dress...

The true story of Obama in 80 words and pictures

Your choice.

You might want to think of these.

Quote of the Day

"You have to pinch yourself – a Marxist radical who all his life
has been mentored by, sat at the feet of, worshipped with, befriended,
endorsed the philosophy of, funded and been in turn funded, politically
promoted and supported by a nexus comprising black power anti-white
racists, Jew-haters, unrepentant former terrorists and Chicago mobsters,
is on the verge of becoming President of the United States.

And it's considered impolite to say so!"

Obama defined himself in 2001

We have had Joe the Plumber being told by Hussein that he wants to spread the wealth around.

Now we have an interview that Hussein gave eight years ago that is much more damning, yet no one in the press found it, and even though it is more damning, it will get no play in the MSM.

From the interview:

You know, if you look at the victories and failures of the civil-rights movement, and its litigation strategy in the court, I think where it succeeded was to vest formal rights in previously dispossessed peoples. So that I would now have the right to vote, I would now be able to sit at a lunch counter and order and as long as I could pay for it, I’d be okay, but the Supreme Court never entered into the issues of redistribution of wealth, and sort of more basic issues of political and economic justice in this society.

And uh, to that extent, as radical as I think people tried to characterize the Warren Court, it wasn’t that radical. It didn’t break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the Founding Fathers in the Constitution — at least as it’s been interpreted, and Warren Court interpreted it in the same way, that generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties: [It] says what the states can’t do to you, says what the federal government can’t do to you, but it doesn’t say what the federal government or the state government must do on your behalf.

And that hasn’t shifted, and one of the, I think, the tragedies of the civil-rights movement was because the civil-rights movement became so court-focused, uh, I think that there was a tendency to lose track of the political and community organizing and activities on the ground that are able to put together the actual coalitions of power through which you bring about redistributive change. And in some ways we still suffer from that.

A caller then helpfully asks: “The gentleman made the point that the Warren Court wasn’t terribly radical. My question is (with economic changes)… my question is, is it too late for that kind of reparative work, economically, and is that the appropriate place for reparative economic work to change place?”
Obama replies:

You know, I’m not optimistic about bringing about major redistributive change through the courts. The institution just isn’t structured that way. [snip] You start getting into all sorts of separation of powers issues, you know, in terms of the court monitoring or engaging in a process that essentially is administrative and takes a lot of time. You know, the court is just not very good at it, and politically, it’s just very hard to legitimize opinions from the court in that regard.

So I think that, although you can craft theoretical justifications for it, legally, you know, I think any three of us sitting here could come up with a rationale for bringing about economic change through the courts.”

That's very plain folks.

And the fact is that Hussein would have the chance to appoint at leats two SC Justices.

Yes we have no two budweisers

Hello chums, and I hope you are all well and happy and have your savings in cash and stuffed under, or better yet, in your mattress.

How I know the economy has been too good.

A bit ago I decided to leave my hotel room, pick up two beers, grab some Italian takeout from Fazzoli's and catch a movie in the room...

So I stopped at a QuickiMart type joint and grabbed two Buds, and took them to the counter.

Clerk gives me the fish eye and says, "What's those?"

Me, thinking one of us is stupid. "Two Buds."

Clerk. "Don't you know we can only sell six packs?"

Me. "You're BSing me, right?"

Clerk. "No. Aren't you in here every night?"

Me. "I have never been here before."

Clerk. "Are you sure?"

Me, with a rapidly changing attitude. "Yeah. I'm sure. And why would I lie?"

Clerk. "OK."

Me. "You gonna sell me the two Buds or what?"

Clerk. "No. We can't sell any loose cans."

Me. "Not that I give a shit, but can you tell me why?"

Clerk. "It messes up the inventory."

Me. "You can't count 30 six packs and 4 cans?"

Clerk. "Yeah, but it messes up the inventory."

Me. "Keep the beer."

So I went down the street and found a liquor store and bought two small bottles of Turning Leaf.... The food was good, the wine was okay and I hope the QuickiMart goes broke.

I am starting to wonder...is Obama native born?

Indeed. Why?

You know, when all the "Hussein wasn't born in the US" stuff first came out, I just dismissed it.

Then when I read a Hillary supporter's blog for a bit I started to wonder...

And when the PA Democrat filed the suit I said... is this guy a nut, or what?

Now we have this to consider.

HONOLULU, Hawaii – Although the legitimacy of Sen. Barack Obama's birth certificate has become a focus of intense speculation – and even several lawsuits – WND has learned that Hawaii's Gov. Linda Lingle has placed the candidate's birth certificate under seal, and instructed the state's Department of Health to make sure no one in the press obtains access to the original document under any circumstances.

I mean what's the deal? Why doesn't Hussein just pick up the phone and have it released?? I mean if he did it would:

1. Make those who claim he wasn't born here look like fools.

2. Make people like me who are queasy about him feel better.

3. Appease a lot of people he will need to have happy with him should he be elected...

I mean it would be a total win-win.

Yet he doesn't. And this from a man who people call super intelligent with great judgment.

And then we have this:

In Kenya, WND was told by government authorities that all documents concerning Obama were under seal until after the U.S. presidential election on November 4.

Why?? Why if there isn't information there that says he was born there.

In a startling development, Obama's Kenyan grandmother has reportedly alleged she witnessed Obama's birth at the Coast Provincial Hospital in Mombasa, Kenya.

What happens if he is elected and then it is proven that he wasn't native born? The country would be in turmoil and Biden would become President elect because Hussein wouldn't be qualified, plus he would be guilty of fraud which clearly falls under the high crimes and misdemeanors standard for impeachment.

Tell me why any Jew would vote for Obama

I think this Link says it all.

LA Times writer Peter Wallsten wrote about Barack Obama's close association with former Palestinian operative Rashid Khalidi back in April.

Wallsten discussed a dinner held back in 2003 in honor of Khalidi, a critic of Israel and advocate for Palestinian rights.

Barack Obama has denied his close association with Khalidi, too.

According to Wallsten the evening not surprisingly turned into a classic Jew-bash:

"During the dinner a young Palestinian American recited a poem accusing the Israeli government of terrorism in its treatment of Palestinians and sharply criticizing U.S. support of Israel. If Palestinians cannot secure their own land, she said, "then you will never see a day of peace."

One speaker likened "Zionist settlers on the West Bank" to Osama bin Laden, saying both had been "blinded by ideology."

Barack Obama also praised the former PLO operative during the event.
And, Obama confessed that his family often shared dinner with the Khalidis:

His many talks with the Khalidis, Obama said, had been "consistent reminders to me of my own blind spots and my own biases... It's for that reason that I'm hoping that, for many years to come, we continue that conversation -- a conversation that is necessary not just around Mona and Rashid's dinner table," but around "this entire world."

...The event was videotaped, and a copy of the tape was obtained by The Times.

On Wednesday I talked with Peter Wallsten from the Los Angeles Times about the article on Obama and Khalidi:

Wallston was one of the few mainstream media reporters to report on this radical Obama associate.

Wallston said that the article was written after he watched video taken at the Khalidi going away party. When I asked him about the video he said that as far as he was concerned he was through with the story.

I asked him if he was planning on releasing this video of Obama toasting the radical Khalidi at this Jew-bash. He told me he was not releasing the video. He also would not comment on his source for the video. Wallston also said he did not know if Khalidi's good friend Bill Ayers was at the event or not.

So, there you have it.

The LA Times has video of Obama toasting a former PLO operative at a Jew-bash but will not release the video.

The radical Left's hatred of Israel has been on display for years. With Hussein elected they will be position to do grave harm to Israel and Jews all over the world.

God helps those who helps themselves. Voting for Hussein does not do that.

Race and the race

From the you couldn't make this up department.

The Bradley effect, named after a black LA mayor who lost the race for governor of CA despite having a rather large lead in the polls, states that white people will claim to vote for a black man when asked, but vote for the white man in the privacy of the voting booth.

Now comes CNN with a poll that says 70% of Americans say that race will not be a factor......

Two thoughts.

First, how will we know? The posit of the Bradley effect says that people won't tell. So by definition the poll is meaningless.

Secondly, according to some polls Hussein is getting 97% of the black vote, up from a traditional 80% to 85% for the Democratic candidate. That is a 17% to 12% increase based on race.

Now, if the white vote was increased by a similar margin the election would be over.

Yet the latter would be claimed to be racist while the former is being ignored.

What does all this mean? I haven't the slightest beyond knowing that Hussein won the nomination because of the 95% plus of the black votes he received and the what I call the "willingly stupid," or college students.

I suspect the additional black votes won't be too large of an impact because McCain will carry the traditional red states and Hussein the traditional blue states and the Bradley effect will carry the swing states for McCain.

Only this time I think it won't be a "Bradley" effect but a "PC effect." People won't say they won't vote for Hussein because of race, after all Bradley is 30 years old, but because it would un-PC to do so, even though they are against his positions.
The results will be the same.

No, there is no Ayers Obama conspiracy

In my post just below this one I provide a video link that shows William Ayers as a terrorist and a radical. This is the video.

Link to video.

weeder gander, in his quest to defend all things Leftie writes:

In 1936 American commentator H. L. Mencken wrote:

The central belief of every moron is that he is the victim of a mysterious conspiracy against his common rights and true deserts. He ascribes all his failure to get on in the world, all of his congenital incapacity and damfoolishness, to the machinations of werewolves assembled in Wall Street, or some other such den of infamy.[20]

Belief in conspiracy theories has become a topic of interest for sociologists, psychologists and experts in folklore since at least the 1960s, when the assassination of US President John F. Kennedy eventually provoked an unprecedented public response directed against the official version of the case as expounded in the Report of the Warren Commission.

..........................

n his two volume work The Open Society and Its Enemies Popper used the term "conspiracy theory" to criticize the ideologies driving fascism, Nazism and communism. Popper argued that totalitarianism was founded on "conspiracy theories" which drew on imaginary plots driven by paranoid scenarios predicated on tribalism, racism or classism. Popper did not argue against the existence of everyday conspiracies (as incorrectly suggested in much of the later literature). Popper even uses the term "conspiracy" to describe ordinary political activity in the classical Athens of Plato (who was the principal target of his attack in The Open Society & Its Enemies).

In his critique of Marx and the twentieth century totalitarians, Popper wrote, "I do not wish to imply that conspiracies never happen. On the contrary, they are typical social phenomena."[29]

He reiterated his point, "Conspiracies occur, it must be admitted. But the striking fact which, in spite of their occurrence, disproved the conspiracy theory is that few of these conspiracies are ultimately successful. Conspirators rarely consummate their conspiracy."[29]

Popper proposed the term "the conspiracy theory of society" to criticize the methodology of Marx, Hitler and others whom he deemed to be deluded by "historicism" - the reduction of history to an overt and naive distortion via a crude formulaic analysis usually predicated on an agenda replete with unsound presuppositions.[30]

October 23, 2008 10:14 AM

As usual weeder tries and reframe the question. In this case by writing of conspiracies. It is the old, "Make the other's claim so large that it is easily dismissible," trick.

But I am not going to let you get by with it.

No one has claimed that there is a conspiracy between Ayers and Hussein. I have no doubt that they have never sat and decided that one would do this and the other would do that. If Hussein wins, Ayers will not be part of his administration.

And the video doesn't say that. It merely shows what Ayers has done and presents the thought that Ayers would support Hussein because Ayers sees the radical in Hussein.
The video is merely proof of Hussein's radicalism.

That's why he launched his political career from his home. That's why he appointed him Chairman of one of the boards.

Hussein is a complex person. His early childhood did expose him to Muslim teachings. He did tour the world with a Muslim friend at an early age. His schooling was in a very left wing setting. And his religion was received from a man and church which does preach Black Liberation Theology.

Do I think he is a Muslim? No. I think he is a mixture of his schooling and life experiences, as we all are. I think that made him a radical and I think he saw a fellow radical in Ayers and they both used each other.

So forget your theories, gander. They don't work around here.

Ayers and Fort Dix

Here is a video that explains perfectly the meaning of the Ayers and Hussein relationship.

It would make a wonderful McCain ad. But it will never be used.

A real pity that it won't. A few of these on national TV might elect John McCain and save the country years of grief.

Think it will be on the 6 o'clock news??

Remember this from a few days ago? I was chastised by many for showing it.

Just the people to run the re-education camps.

Just a preview dear chums. Just a preview.

weeder gander... again

I am copying the following from a rejected comment by weeder gander. I rejected it because it was off topic. But I think it summarizes who we are dealing with.

Who lost 3 planes while serving in the military, and has demonstrated signs of confusion and erratic behavior while on the campaign trail, something that perhaps has figured in the AQ types saying what they said......

Al-Qaida supporters suggested in a Web site message this week they would welcome a pre-election terror attack on the U.S. as a way to usher in a McCain presidency.

Gander, of course, has never been in the military and thinks we should have open borders, shouldn't defend ourselves, etc., etc. His bible is the NYT and loves to quote long ramblings by Lefties who resemble him and who are responsible for the mess we are in.

Let's hear it for weeder! Stand up gander!!! Thanks for flying your true colors!!

Barney Frank tells the truth...or does he?

First we had Joe Biden tell us that Hussein is so weak and inexperienced that, if elected, the country would be attacked in six months.

I thought I would never again see such honesty.

I was wrong.

Listen to Barney admit that he will recommend tax increases.

Now Barney says it will only be on the rich.

He just doesn't tell us who is rich!!

Barney Frank's excuses for his bad judgment

First listen to Barney and Bill.

O'Reilly kicks Frank's butt.

Then read this.

And before you say, "About time Bush did something," that was 9/11/2003.

Well, the Demos shot it down.

''These two entities -- Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac -- are not facing any kind of financial crisis,'' said Representative Barney Frank of Massachusetts, the ranking Democrat on the Financial Services Committee. ''The more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing.''

Representative Melvin L. Watt, Democrat of North Carolina, agreed.

''I don't see much other than a shell game going on here, moving something from one agency to another and in the process weakening the bargaining power of poorer families and their ability to get affordable housing,'' Mr. Watt said.

Barney would not know the truth if he met it walking down the street.

I know Obama is not a Muslim

Really, I do. He's not. No way. Nada.

Barack Obama's newly appointed Muslim outreach adviser is coming under fire for meeting with Islamic groups with extremist views, just two months after her predecessor resigned over links to a radical cleric.

Minha Husaini met with members of several Islamic organizations in Virginia on September 15 -- including some that terrorism experts say have ties to Hamas and the radical Muslim Brotherhood.

Among the attendees were senior members of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, which was listed by federal prosecutors as an unindicted co-conspirator in a terror-related trial.

Several people connected to CAIR have been convicted of felonies -- including on terrorism-related charges.

CAIR bills itself as the nation's largest Muslim civil-rights advocacy group. As recently as last year, it advised the Transportation Security Administration on sensitivity training regarding Muslim air travelers. Nihad Awad, a CAIR co-founder and executive director, met with President Bush in the aftermath of 9/11.

But critics say CAIR has a long history of masquerading as a moderate Islamic group.

"These groups, even if they themselves are not active terrorist organizations, do subscribe to large amounts of the ideology that fuels the terrorism that we are being confronted with," said Andrew McCarthy, former Assistant U.S. Attorney.

CAIR did not return repeated calls for comment.

Awad, who was at the September meeting with Husaini, recently attended a dinner with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

I mean why shouldn't his people associate with these people? I mean, Ayers admits to being a terrorist and Hussein's paling with him is no problem. So what's the problem with having dinner with a country's leader? I mean so the leader wants to destroy Israel and the West. Big deal.

And CAIR? Look chums, John Murtha has been an unindicted co-conspirator for years and years. Most Democrats think of that as resume enhancement.

Also present at the Sept. 15 meeting was Mahdi Bray, who has publicly announced his support for the terrorist groups Hamas and Hezbollah. Bray, the executive director of the Muslim American Society Freedom Foundation, raised his fist in the air during a rally in Washington in October 2000 to demonstrate his support for the terror groups.

Oh, that? Look, just because Hamas is sending suicide bombers into Israel who are killing innocent women and children and Hezbollah has rained missiles on Israel and control Lebannon... well, that's no reason not to support them if you are Muslim. Right? If those darn Jews would just leave everything would be fine...

Of course we know Hussein is not a Muslim. He has told us he isn't.

That settles it, right?

Here's to the Rays and the Phillies!

And if they need someone in the outfield, the video shows a hot prospect!

And every time I see this I am reminded that Ginger Rogers made every step that Fred Astaire made...

Biden - Ego or suck up??

I cannot figure out if Biden has the world's biggest ego or is the world's greatest suck up. You be the judge. This from his speech in Florida yesterday.

"I've forgotten more about foreign policy than most of my colleagues know, so I'm not being falsely humble with you. I think I can be value added, but this guy has it," the Senate Foreign Relations chairman said of Obama.

"I've forgotten..."

Glad he spec'd foreign policy else I would have to mention he didn't know Roosevelt wasn't Pres in '29 and that TV wasn't around...Or told us JOBS was a three letter word!

Biden's Great Truth and the Questions It Raises

ABC News' Matthew Jaffe Reports: Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., on Sunday guaranteed that if elected, Sen. Barack Obama., D-Ill., will be tested by an international crisis within his first six months in power and he will need supporters to stand by him as he makes tough, and possibly unpopular, decisions.

"Mark my words," the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. "It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy."

"I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate," Biden said to Emerald City supporters, mentioning the Middle East and Russia as possibilities.

Let us be clear. What Hussein's own running mate, a man with 33 years of experience in the Senate, a man that Hussein has chosen for his experience in foreign policy has just told us that we should expect to be attacked within six months should Hussein be elected.

Reading back over several of my posts I feel like a prophet who has just been blessed by the High Priest.

But the question is this. WHY WOULD ANY OF YOU LEFTIES VOTE FOR HUSSEIN?

Are you ready to accept responsibility for the death and injuries that Biden forecasts?

"And he's gonna need help. And the kind of help he's gonna need is, he's gonna need you - not financially to help him - we're gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it's not gonna be apparent initially, it's not gonna be apparent that we're right."

Now, what does this mean? Is he telling the base that Hussein will use military power and they must understand this? Or is he saying that he will do as Spain did and cut and run and the base must be ready to support this?

I say he is saying that Biden and Hussein have already agreed that they will cut and run. Note the words, "..your influence within the community...it's not gonna be apparent that we are right..."

And if I understand his comments to mean "cut and run," do you have any doubt that bin Ladin and all the other terrorists also understand it this way?

Could there ever be a bigger invitation for a terrorist attack?

And to further bolster my belief that Hussein will cut and run, and to further bolster my belief that the terrorists will see this as an invitation to attack...

"We do not have the military capacity, nor have we ever, quite frankly, in the last 20 years, to dictate outcomes," he cautioned. "It's so much more important than that. It's so much more complicated than that. And Barack gets it."

After speaking for just over a quarter of an hour, Biden noticed the media presence in the back of the small ballroom.

"I probably shouldn't have said all this because it dawned on me that the press is here," he joked.

A note to General Powell

General, you have left McCain when he needed you most.

I admired you for years. In fact, I was hoping that you would run for President in 2000. I had copies of your presentations you gave on leadership and passed them around to friends.

But I guess you didn't matter to the media in 2000, they didn't see you as a transitional candidate, they saw you as a moderate military type leader, and that was the end of that.

I was happy when Bush appointed you to be SecState, and admired your support for the war.

But then you fell off the scope. I can remember nothing you accomplished at State, and like many before you, you became overcome by the sheer inertia of that bloated failed organization. Despite that I hoped that Bush would name you his VP candidate in 2004.

And I always felt that you were an honest man and criticized Bush for his choice.

Unfortunately, I can no longer say that.

If you are as smart as I think you are, you know that Hussein is totally unqualified to be President. So that brings your motivation into question.

I have thought about that and have concluded.

1. You have suspended your good judgement and have endorsed him because he is black. Something you would have, once upon a time, flayed a military person for doing.

2. Or, you have suspended your good judgement and want back into the game and are angling for a job.

Both speak ill of you.

Your running away from McCain calls to mind something Shakespeare wrote about military men and honor.

"We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;
And gentlemen in England now-a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day."

--- Shakespeare's Henry V

You may have purchased a high place in Hussein's court. How history will judge your actions has not been written.

An Obama type ending

Associations do matter.... in some things..

Hat tip to Trish!
Isn't this something to think about!

If Barack Obama would apply for a job with the FBI or with the Secret Service, he would be disqualified because of his past association with William Ayers, a known terrorist. For this same reason, he would be disqualified from joining the military.

If he is elected President he would not qualify to be his own body guard!

Obama, Jake, melting cakes and tears.

Hello chums, glad to see you are alive and checking in to see if I am.

Well, as Mark Twain is reputed to have said, "The rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated." Or something like that. Now if I could just Tom Sawyer someone into picking up the leaves here at the Palatial Retirement Compound things would be Jake.

I don't know, or at least can't remember, where "things would be Jake," comes from. I guess not knowing and can't remember comes out the same, except I have found that the latter becomes larger while other things become smaller and thank goodness for Google. For with it I shall soon be able to know everything that ever happened to anyone. Now, don't YOU wish you had purchased the PPV of last night's UT's beating of the mighty Bulldogs?

No? You say one swallow a summer does not make? My, my what a doubting Thomas you are.

My, my brings me to American Pie and driving Chevys to levees. Or something like that. I think that song was the start of the end for me and pop music. I can't say why. But I do know that whiskey is scotch, rye is made from rye and bourbon is made from corn except for Maker's Mark which is wheat based.

A friend once told me that for someone who loved "McArthur's Park" I had no right to complain. True, but you didn't need to listen to Donna Summer sing, just looking was enough. She can also sing, which is icing on the cake, even cakes left out in the rain.

Jake, of course, is mostly a nickname for John. I have a friend named John who was a Jake many years ago. We did some unreasonable things together as younger men, actually older boys, although both improved with age. He became a minister and I, well, let's just say I aged. As any poker player will tell you, Luck Does Count.

Which brings me to Hussein. Although I admit he is good, he had the good luck to run into a campaign by Hillary that she thought of as a coronation and now one by McCain that he can't seem to understand that there are issues that are mean and nasty and that he isn't serving the country by not bringing them forward.

So while Hussein mouths sweet nothings about the economy and attacks a plumber for asking questions McCain should have, McCain continues to claim that civility is THE issue.

No, John. Winning is the issue. The only issue.

This campaign will be remembered as the campaign ran during the middle of a war in which the war was mentioned only fleetingly, if at all.

Jake and I and John McCain have seen the beginning. We will not live to see the middle or the end. I shed tears for those that will. I pray that we will have enough of older boys who will become hard men to do the hard things that Hussein's minions run from.

Obama and Obama and Joe who??

It appears that Joe the Plumber does not have a license and is actually just an apprentice, although at the end of same....

Wow.... How dare him ask questions of The Chosen One?

That's sarcasm, dear chums.

Reminds me of the child who noted that the Emperor had no clothes.

hehe

In the meantime we still have not seen Hussein's certified birth certificate...

Funny. The media can vet a guy who plans to be a plumber better than they can a guy who wants to be President.

Something wrong in that....

All hail Queen Michelle!

This is just purely outrageous. We fought a revolution to get away from this shit.

NOTE AT 7:17 P.M. ET: I cannot independently confirm the following, but it comes from an excellent source whom I trust, a man I've known for some time. "When Michelle Obama was on 'Ellen,' all staff and crew were ordered not to look her in the eyes, but had to keep their eyes down."

COMMENT: Judge for yourself. She will be first lady.

UrgentAgenda

Fom Here to Dubai?

And isn't this a great reason to:

Drill here.

Drill now.

Be independent.

Facts be facts dear chums, and western culture is not, I repeat is not, compatible with cultures who do things like this:

A Dubai court sentenced two Britons to three months in prison on Thursday and ordered their subsequent deportation for having sex on a beach in the booming Muslim Gulf emirate.

Michelle Palmer, 37, and Vince Acors, 34, were found guilty of having sex in a public place in the early hours of July 5 after drinking heavily.

Both are still free on bail and were not in court to hear the verdict in the highly publicised case.

The defence said it would appeal, although the relatively moderate ruling showed that they only committed an indecent act in public and did not actually have sex.

But the prosecution said there was evidence they did have sexual intercourse and that it might appeal the "light" sentence.

Link

If they do this for screwing on the beach...late at night...do you understand the mentality that hangs female rape victims and gays in Iran?

If these guys ever see "From Here to Eternity," their heads will explode when they come to the beach scene.

Obama and national defense

I'm still punked out and in a rotten mood, as my various posts undoubtedly show. In an effort to get back to reality I have went back to why this election is important beyond taxes and the stock market.

National Security.

There is little doubt that the Democrats are anti-war and as such they have no base at all for national defense. Their continual demands that terrorist suspects captured over seas be afforded a full up US criminal justice system trial says it all and it is amazing to me that the Repubs haven't hung that around Hussein's neck.

I have little doubt that if Hussein is elected we will be attacked within 12 months in an attempt to motivate the Democrats into withdrawing from the ME in total.

Much of the Left's arguments is that our security measures have been criticized by the "rest of the world" and that, for some unknown reason is "bad." Actually, as this article shows, we are not that different.

The minister also indicated that "Certain problem areas in our suburbs also remain choice target for Salafist activities. The youth are then sent to theological education in the Muslim world and attend Koranic schools, like the madrassas of Pakistan, Egypt and Yemen."

This is troubling. These people, children actually, aren't being sent to improve their worldly knowledge, and they aren't Rhodes scholars. How to keep up with them becomes an interesting exercise.

"Like Pakistan or Yemen, we do communicate, in agreement with the airlines, the names and dates of departure and arrivals of passengers reported as dangerous. We want to extend this watch to other countries and to flights with a stopover, which would prevent for example going through Switzerland when coming from Pakistan in order to cover up tracks. Finally, we would like to know if passengers travel alone or accompanied. It's important to prevent hijacking of planes."

Such a statement is surprising as many critics in the United States blast Washington for establishing lists of passengers from countries at risk while claiming that Europeans do not. Now we hear the French minister of interior clarifying that these lists exist and that they are part of the French national security apparatus. This demonstrates that the prevention policy in a country very sensitive to civil liberties such as France, can work as a component of counter terrorism measures

And this again goes back to Ayers and Hussein's relationship and how they funded radical schools.

Stanley Kurtz

Aint it the truth????

I can't get my brain around politics, just too much riding on the debate tonight. So I'll do what we used to do before a mission... set around and tell jokes.

This is from Grant M and it really fits in.

The Biker and the Lion

A biker is riding by the zoo, when he sees a little girl leaning into the lion's cage.

Suddenly, the lion grabs her by the cuff of her jacket and tries to pull her inside to slaughter her, under the eyes of her screaming parents.

The biker jumps off his bike, runs to the cage and hits the lion square on the nose with a powerful punch.

Whimpering from the pain the lion jumps back letting go of the girl, and the biker brings her to her terrified parents, who thank him endlessly.

A New York Times reporter has watched the whole event. The reporter says, 'Sir, this was the most gallant and brave thing I saw a man do in my whole life.'

The biker replies, 'Why, it was nothing, really, the lion was behind bars. I just saw this little kid in danger, and acted as I felt right.'

The reporter says, 'Well, I'm a journalist from the New York Times, and tomorrow's paper will have this story on the front page... So, what do you do for a living and
what political affiliation do you have? '

The biker replies, 'I'm a U.S. Marine and a Republican.'

The following morning the biker buys The New York Times to see if it indeed brings news of his actions, and reads, on the front page:

U.S. MARINE ASSAULTS AFRICAN IMMIGRANT AND STEALS HIS LUNCH

Why can't they just shut up?

From UrgentAgenda:

UPDATE AT 7:25 A.M. ET: Oct. 15 (Bloomberg) -- Stocks in Europe and Asia fell for the first time in three days and U.S. index futures tumbled after Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco President Janet Yellen said the U.S. is already in a recession.

You would think that someone supposedly as smart as Ms Yellen would have had the good sense to avoid the question.

Evidently she does not.

The whys of Ayers and Obama

If you don't read Melanie Phillips may I offer you a sample of the clarity of her thought:

The contrast between, on the one hand, the huge amount of material about Obama’s radical associations that has been published in on-line journals and in a few brave newspapers, and on the other the refusal by big media to address it and to vilify those who do, becomes more astounding by the day.

The Obamaniacs are spinning the relationship between Obama and William Ayers, former of Weather Undergound Terrorism Inc, as of no consequence because this was supposedly a chance acquaintance and because the educational project they worked on, the Annenberg Challenge, was a worthy one.

Stanley Kurtz now nails that canard by showing how, through the Annenberg Challenge, Obama and Ayers channelled funds to extremist anti-American Afrocentric ‘educational’ programmes which were a carbon-copy of the world view of Pastor Jeremiah Wright, Obama’s black racist mentor who, under pressure, Obama was forced to repudiate. These programmes promoted, amongst other radical ideas, the ‘rites of passage’ philosophy which attempted to create a ‘virtually separate and intensely anti-American black social world’ in order to ‘counter the potentially detrimental effects of a Eurocentrically oriented society.’ One such teacher taught that

"The submission to Western civilization and its most outstanding offspring, American civilization, is, in reality, surrender to white supremacy."

Kurtz concludes:

"However he may seek to deny it, all evidence points to the fact that, from his position as board chair of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, Barack Obama knowingly and persistently funded an educational project that shared the extremist and anti-American philosophy of Jeremiah Wright."

No surprise there, since back in June Kurtz pointed to evidence that Obama shared the black racism of the Trinity United Church of Christ. In this article Obama was reported as rejecting ‘integrationist assimilation’ and wanting to channel black rage more effectively into political organisation. Kurtz dug out a chapter in a 1990 book called After Alinsky: Community Organizing in Illinois in which Obama sketched out how radical black churches could be harnessed to help radicalise the black population. As Kurtz wrote:

"So it would appear that Obama’s own writings solve the mystery of why he stayed at Trinity for 20 years. Obama’s long-held and decidedly audacious hope has been to spread Wright’s radical spirit by linking it to a viable, left-leaning political program, with Obama himself at the center. The revolutionizing power of a politically awakened black church is not some side issue, or merely a personal matter, but has been the signature theme of Obama’s grand political strategy."

Whore Houses and Government

I got this from Jimmy M.

Think about this as you go about your affairs today --

In the 1990's the Government seized the Mustang Ranch, a very well-known brothel in Nevada, for tax evasion, kept it open and tried to run it. They failed and it closed in '99.

Think about this: We continue to trust the fractured economy of our country to a bunch of nitwits who couldn't make money running a whore house and selling booze.

Really gives me the warm fuzzies all over. How about you?

McCain cuts gap to two!

UPDATE AT 8:49 P.M. ET: We reported earlier that the first IBD/Tipp tracking poll for this election has just reported its first results - Obama by two points, 45-43. This is outside the range of all other polls. However, IBD/Tipp had the best record for accuracy in the 2004 election. You can read the internal details of the poll here.

COMMENT: Please note that the poll was taken over a six-day period, rather than the traditional three days for tracking polls. That means it is not as up to date as other trackers, which may account for it being an outlier. Also, accuracy in 2004 is not a guarantee of accuracy this year. I'd be cautious about these results.

True story

The following comes Grant M..

Once upon a time in a village, a man appeared and announced to the villagers that he would buy monkeys for $10 each.

The villagers seeing that there were many monkeys around, went out to the forest, and started catching them.

The man bought thousands at $10 and as supply started to diminish, the villagers stopped their effort.

He further announced that he would now buy at $20.

This renewed the efforts of the villagers and they started catching monkeys again.

Soon the supply diminished even further and people started going back to their farms.

The offer increased to $25 each and the supply of monkeys became so little that it was an effort to even see a monkey, let alone catch it!

The man now announced that he would buy monkeys at $ 50! However, since he had to go to the city on some business, his assistant would now buy on behalf of him.

In the absence of the man, the assistant told the villagers, 'Look at all these monkeys in the big cage that the man has collected.

I will sell them to you at $35 and when the man returns from the city, you can sell them to him for $50 each.'

The villagers rounded up with all their savings and bought all the monkeys. Then they never saw the man or his assistant again, only monkeys everywhere!

So now you have a better understanding of how the stock market works.

I can't add a thing.

More stuff to make a Leftie's head explode

THE JOB - URINE TEST
(Whoever wrote this one deserves a HUGE pat on the back!)

I HAVE TO PASS A URINE TEST FOR MY JOB... SO I AGREE 100%

Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test.

Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their A--, doing drugs, while I work. . . . Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?

Pass this along if you agree or simply delete if you don't. Hope you all will pass it along, though . . Something has to change in this country -- and soon!!!!!!!

I guess we could title that program, 'Urine or You're Out'.

Just a thought

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that during the mad cow epidemic our government could track a single cow, born in Canada almost three years ago, right to the stall where she slept in the state of Washington? And, they tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around our country. Maybe we should give each of them a cow.

Obama's epiphany??

The following was sent in by Grant M. I have edited some of the introduction to get to the meat of the issues raised and reformatted for clarity and focus. (My thanks to whoever sent me the picture. A failure of the soft drive has erased the memory file.)

I have no idea of the overall accuracy of this, but have no reason to disbelieve it.

The sad thing about it is that after two years the so-called press has investigated Hussein's life during this time and all we can do is sketch in some material with the remainder unknown.

You would think a man who would be President would have his past better known.

A friend sent me this....

"This election has me very worried. So many things to consider. About a year ago I would have voted for Obama. I have changed my mind three times since than. I watch all the news channels, jumping from one to another......

About six months ago, I started thinking "where did the money come from for Obama". I have four daughters who went to College, and we were middle class, and money was tight. We (including my girls) worked hard and there were lots of student loans.

I started looking into Obama's life.

Around 1979 Obama started college at Occidental in California . He is very open about his two years at Occidental, he tried all kinds of drugs and was wasting his time but, even though he had a brilliant mind, did not apply himself to his studies. "Barry" (that was the name he used all his life) during this time had two roommates, Muhammad Hasan Chandoo and Wahid Hamid, both from Pakistan.

During the summer of 1981, after his second year in college, he made a "round the world" trip.

Stopping to see his mother in Indonesia , next Hyderabad in India , three weeks in
Karachi, Pakistan where he stayed with his roommate's family, then off to Africa to visit his father's family. My question - Where did he get the money for this trip?

Nether I, nor any one of my children would have had money for a trip like this when they where in college.

When he came back he started school at Columbia University in New York . It is at this time he wants everyone to call him Barack - not Barry. Do you know what the tuition is at Columbia ? It's not cheap! to say the least.

Where did he get money for tuition? Student Loans? Maybe. After Columbia , he went to Chicago to work as a Community Organizer for $12,000. a year. Why Chicago? Why not New York? He was already living in New York.

By "chance" he met Antoin "Tony" Rezko, born in Aleppo Syria , and a real estate developer in Chicago . Rezko has been convicted of fraud and bribery this year. Rezko, was named "Entrepreneur of the Decade" by the Arab-American Business and Professional Association". About two years later, Obama entered Harvard Law School.

Do you have any idea what tuition is for Harvard Law School? Where did he get the money for Law Schoo? More student loans?

After Law school, he went back to Chicago . Rezko offered him a job, which he turned down. But, he did take a job with Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland. Guess what? They represented "Rezar" which Rezko's firm.

Rezko was one of Obama's first major financial contributors when he ran for office in Chicago. In 2003, Rezko threw an early fundraiser for Obama which Chicago Tribune reporter David Mendelland claims was instrumenta l in providing Obama with "seed money" for his U.S. Senate race.

In 2005, Obama purchased a new home in Kenwoood District of Chicago for $1.65 million (less than asking price). With ALL those Student Loans - Where did he get the money for the property? On the same day Rezko's wife, Rita, purchased the adjoining empty lot for full price. The London Times reported that Nadhmi Auchi, an Iraqi-born Billionaire loaned Rezko $3.5 million three weeks before Obama's new home was purchased. Obama met Nadhmi Auchi many times with Rezko.

Now, we have Obama running for President. Valerie Jarrett, was Michele Obama's boss. She is now Obama's chief advisor and he does not make any major decisions without talking to her first. Where was Jarrett born? Ready for this? Shiraz, Iran ! Do we see a pattern here? Or am I going crazy?

On May 10, 2008 The Times reported, Robert Malley advisor to Obama was "sacked" after the press found out he was having regular contacts with "Hamas", which controls Gaza and is connected with Iran . This past week, buried in the back part of the papers, Iraqi newspapers reported that during Obama's visit to Iraq , he asked their leaders to do nothing about the war until after he is elected, and he will "Take care of things".

Oh, and by the way, remember the college roommates that where born in Pakista? They are in charge of all those "small" Internet campaign contribution for Obama.

Where is that money coming from?

The poor and middle class in this country?

Or could it be from the Middle East?

And the final bit of news. On September 7, 2008, The Washington Times posted a verbal slip that was made on "This Week" with George Stephanapoulos. Obama on talking about his religion said, "My Muslimfaith". When questioned, "he make a mistake". Some mistake!

All of the above information I got on line. If you would like to check it - Wikipedia, encyclopedia, Barack Obama; Tony Rezko; Valerie Jarrett: Daily Times - Obama visited Pakistan in 1981; The Washington Times -September 7, 2008; The Times May 10, 2008.

Now the BIG question - If I found out all this information on my own, Why haven't all of our "intelligent" members of the press been reporting this?

A phrase that keeps ringing in my ear - "Beware of the enemy from within"!!!

BTW - If you Google Wahid Hamid you will discover he contributed $2300. to Hussein and is on the board of Pepsico.

Nothing wrong with that, I just mention it to show he is a real person.

And then we have this:

For some reason Barack Obama has never mentioned his three week stay in Pakistan in any of his writings. On the infamous San Francisco trip in which Obama called small town Americans “bitter” he also bragged that he had more foreign policy credentials than Hillary Clinton and John McCain. One of the things he listed on his resume was his extensive foreign travel including a 1981 trip to Pakistan. However since this admission, slip of the tongue, or however you would characterize it, Obama has never mentioned this trip again.

Although his campaign manager did discuss it when pressed:

As a freshman, he quickly became friends with Mohammed Hasan Chandoo and Wahid Hamid, two wealthy Pakistanis In 1981, Obama transferred from Occidental to Columbia. In between, he traveled to Pakistan - a trip that enhanced his foreign policy qualifications, he maintained in a private speech at a San Francisco fundraiser last month. Obama spent “about three weeks” in Pakistan, traveling with Hamid and staying in Karachi with Chandoo’s family, said Bill Burton, Obama’s press secretary.

The Chandoo he was referring to is Mohammed Hassan Chandoo which this website claims is now a major campaign bundler for Obama:

Bundler: Hasan Chandoo

Employer: Oppenheimer & Co State: NY Bundler Status for 2008: Bundler for Barack Obama, raised at least $100,000.00
