Indeed. Why?
You know, when all the "Hussein wasn't born in the US" stuff first came out, I just dismissed it.
Then when I read a Hillary supporter's blog for a bit I started to wonder...
And when the PA Democrat filed the suit I said... is this guy a nut, or what?
Now we have this to consider.
HONOLULU, Hawaii – Although the legitimacy of Sen. Barack Obama's birth certificate has become a focus of intense speculation – and even several lawsuits – WND has learned that Hawaii's Gov. Linda Lingle has placed the candidate's birth certificate under seal, and instructed the state's Department of Health to make sure no one in the press obtains access to the original document under any circumstances.
I mean what's the deal? Why doesn't Hussein just pick up the phone and have it released?? I mean if he did it would:
1. Make those who claim he wasn't born here look like fools.
2. Make people like me who are queasy about him feel better.
3. Appease a lot of people he will need to have happy with him should he be elected...
I mean it would be a total win-win.
Yet he doesn't. And this from a man who people call super intelligent with great judgment.
And then we have this:
In Kenya, WND was told by government authorities that all documents concerning Obama were under seal until after the U.S. presidential election on November 4.
Why?? Why if there isn't information there that says he was born there.
In a startling development, Obama's Kenyan grandmother has reportedly alleged she witnessed Obama's birth at the Coast Provincial Hospital in Mombasa, Kenya.
What happens if he is elected and then it is proven that he wasn't native born? The country would be in turmoil and Biden would become President elect because Hussein wouldn't be qualified, plus he would be guilty of fraud which clearly falls under the high crimes and misdemeanors standard for impeachment.
You're starting to wonder about what?
ReplyDeleteDidn't the post show up??
ReplyDeleteIt's showing now...but it didn't when I first looked.
ReplyDeleteIt was very mysterious.
It's still mysterious, isn't it? If it would be me, I would put my birth certificate on the frontpage of every newspaper and every blog.
Hmmmm... Guess that matches with Hussein's birth certificate not showing up...
ReplyDelete;-)
But seriously, you are right. It would take like two minutes to stop all the talk.. strange.
Let's see what snopes.com has to say about this:
ReplyDeleteOrigins: In the first half of 2008, a number of rumors swirling around about presidential candidate Barack Obama coalesced in the claim that he "refused to produce his birth records" because doing so would demonstrate some or all of those rumors to be true: that Barack Obama was "not African," that he was a Muslim with a middle name of Mohammed, that he wasn't born in the United States at all (and thus didn't qualify as a native-born citizen), etc.
In any event the rumormongers were likely to be disappointed. Information about religion and race, when it was collected for birth records, simply reflected whatever the parents identified themselves to be; those values weren't officially assigned to the newborn children as immutable labels. And of course, no infant has any control over whatever names his parents choose for him.
As things turned out, when the Obama campaign made a copy of his Certification of Live Birth from the State of Hawaii available on the Internet in June 2008, it validated none of those rumors: The certificate shows his full name to be "Barack Hussein Obama II," it lists his father's race as "African" and his mother's as "Caucasian," it contains no information about religion, and it reports his birthplace as being Honolulu, Hawaii.
A number of self-proclaimed experts immediately seized the opportunity to pronounce the certificate a forgery (even though none of them had actually seen the original, just a scanned image of it), picking on such specious details as minor variations from other Hawaii-issued certificates and the lack of an embossed seal and signature. (Some forgery claimants even maintained that the certificate was actually an altered version of one issued to Barack Obama's half-sister, Maya.) Aside from the inherent absurdity of such claims (i.e., that a major party presidential nominee would risk his entire candidacy on a fraud that could be uncovered simply by a check of state health records), the supposedly incriminating details don't pan out: the certificate is consistent with others issued in the same time and place, and the embossed seal and signature don't show through very well on the scanned front image made available on the Internet because they were applied to the back of the original document, not the front.
In August 2008, Philadelphia attorney Philip Berg included claims of a forged certificate (among other rumors) as the basis for a suit in U.S. District Court challenging Barack Obama's eligibility for the presidency on the grounds that Obama was actually born in Kenya (not Hawaii) and/or subsequently gave up his U.S. citizenship and thus does not qualify as a native-born citizen of the U.S. In October 2008 a federal judge dismissed the complaint:
In a 34-page memorandum and opinion, the judge said Berg's allegations of harm were "too vague and too attenuated" to confer standing on him or any other voters.
Surrick ruled that Berg's attempts to use certain laws to gain standing to pursue his claim that Obama was not a natural-born citizen were "frivolous and not worthy of discussion."
The judge also said the harm Berg alleged did "not constitute an injury in fact" and Berg's arguments to the contrary "ventured into the unreasonable."

Of course, if we're to believe the writer of the WND article we have to believe the following as well:

Group tied to al-Qaida backs McCain for prez
'They will do all they can to turn Kosovo into a jihadist camp in the heart of Europe'

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee John McCain has enjoyed strong support from a lobbyist group that backs the Kosovo Liberation Army
despite allegations the KLA is a Muslim terrorist group with ties to criminal drug networks and al-Qaida.
The Albanian American Civic League, or AACL, regards the KLA as "freedom fighters," said the AACL's president, former Republican congressman Joe DioGuardi of New York.
They're "not terrorist, like the Serbs and Greeks say," DioGuardi insisted in an interview with WND.
But Islam expert Robert Spencer, editor of the popular website Jihad Watch, contends radical Islam is the driving force behind the Kosovo independence movement.
"There is no excusing the excesses of the Serbs under (former President Slobodan) Milosevic, but there is no denying also that jihadists have been pouring into Bosnia and Kosovo, preparing to use them as a base for jihad activity in Europe – and we have been helping them," Spencer told WND.
"As things turned out, when the Obama campaign made a copy"
ReplyDeleteAh yes, you state the problem well, even if hidden in 300 or so other words.
The issue is the "copy."
He could call the Gov and have all the original information made available, yet he does not, even though that would shut the critics up.
That is the problem that won't go away or can it be hidden in millions of words of blather by Hussein's minions.
Nor can you attack the messenger and be effective. But, if Hussein wanted to, it is assumed he could could make them all look like fools...
Why doesn't he?
Weeder Gander is so prolix, diffuse and confused, I've been wondering why doesn't he get his own blog to express his viewpoint?
ReplyDeleteNot that I mind him coming here at all. Actually his copies of so many defensive documents allow you to refute him and even clarify your posting in a very succinct and successive manner. Not that you ever need to.
I usually get it at first reading.....
He could call the Gov and have all the original information made available, yet he does not, even though that would shut the critics up.
ReplyDeleteThe original document never leaves the files, when I had to get my birth certificate, I got a copy, not the original.(I wasn't born in HI, but the process works the same way throughout this country)
That you don't understand how this process of getting a birth certificate works is not my problem.
You have reason to believe that the copy doesn't have information that is contained in the original because?
Nor can you attack the messenger and be effective.
Nope, no attack, just saying, you believe him about the certificate but you don't believe the same reporter about McCains' attachment to a branch of Al Qaeda.
But, if Hussein wanted to, it is assumed he could could make them all look like fools...
Why doesn't he?
Because you do such a good job on your own, he doesn't need to add to the mix.
"When your enemy is making a blunder, do not interfere."
Seems to me he's taking advice from Napoleon now, not that there's anything wrong with that.....

Ans: Perhaps you can’t read. I said “made available.” The state could easily let interested journalists view the original.
That you don't understand how this process of getting a birth certificate works is not my problem.
Ans: That you don’t understand that the state issues “certified” copies appears to be yours. The question is the original.
You have reason to believe that the copy doesn't have information that is contained in the original because?
Ans: Evidently Hussein ALSO has reason to believe that or else he would just show the original.
Nor can you attack the messenger and be effective.
Nope, no attack, just saying, you believe him about the certificate but you don't believe the same reporter about McCains' attachment to a branch of Al Qaeda.
Ans: Again, reframing doesn’t work. Whatever the reporter said or didn’t say about another subject has nothing to do with this.
But, if Hussein wanted to, it is assumed he could could make them all look like fools...
Why doesn't he?
Because you do such a good job on your own, he doesn't need to add to the mix.
Ans: You continue with the nasties. This is your last warning before I ban you.

Ans: The fact remains that Hussein is making himself the suspect. Why?

PPJ, if you read the article, they(the Hawaii authorities) denied Corsi A COPY of the BC, not the right to see the original document.
ReplyDeleteOf course, the real reason he doesn't get a copy is because of "unnamed source(s)" saying it's political, says the guy who wrote articles tying McCain to organized crime and the KLA associates of Al Qaeda.
That copy would presumably be the same as the one the Obama campaign has made avaliable to all and sundy
the one that snopes.com(which must be in the tank for Obama, what they wrote can't be true!) talked about in my previous comment.
So let's see, a guy goes to Columbia, Harvard, works for a while, registers for the draft, gets elected to state and public offices, gets Secret Service protection as a candidate first and as the nominee for the Presidency, but nobody gets to see his original birth certificate, so he's obviously a fake.
Just checking.
You continue with the nasties. This is your last warning before I ban you
I'll ignore your snarky questions, that way, we're both ahead of the game.
Deal?

ReplyDeleteDid Weeder Gander say Hussein is taking advice from Napoléon? I hope he'll enjoy his exile...
weeder says so much it is hard to know what he really says...
ReplyDelete;-)
weeder - So you think that they will let someone see the original but not send them a copy??
ReplyDeletehahahahahaha
Please. You embarrass yourself.
What does Hussein going to Harvard, etc., have to do with anyone seeing, or not seeing, a certified copy of his birth certificate???
Prior to 9/11 '01 I can't think of a thing he did, that would require a certified birth certificate. And I would guess he had a passport when he came back from Indonesia, and all he would have done is simply renew it, with new photos, every 10 years...
Look. If there isn't a problem, Hussein can have it cleared up with one phone call. If there is, then it will come out at some point.
His actions are instructive.
weeder - So you think that they will let someone see the original but not send them a copy??
ReplyDeleteReading comprehension is your friend, why don't you go back, read and think about what I wrote up there?
What does Hussein going to Harvard, etc., have to do with anyone seeing, or not seeing, a certified copy of his birth
certificate???
You want people to believe that Obama achieved all he has done without any institution laying eyes on his certified birth certificate(like getting a passport, etc.)
Prior to 9/11 '01 I can't think of a thing he did, that would require a certified birth certificate.
So he didn't travel out of the country, and didn't need a birth certificate to do so, like when he visited his biological father in Kenya? He just got there from America without a passport?
If there is, then it will come out at some point.
He already put a certified copy of his birth certificate online, you might re-read my comments
Hussein is taking advice from Napoléon? I hope he'll enjoy his exile...
PPJ has been known to quote Marc Anthony in the past at Talkleft:
I think it was Mark Antony, upon his arrival to calm Egypt down, who was asked what his legal basis was. "I am here to enforce the law, and I have ten legions to make it legal."
So I guess this means that PPJ is in favor of losing a naval battle, who would've thought it?
