Up up and away....

I just got a look at my 2008 health insurance rate.... And guess what, it is up another 10%. I called the insurance commission and complained and they assured me that my company had exceeded its stop loss ratio (again) and that.... are you ready for this news flash.... health cost are up again... And here I had been thinking that all the Doctors were going broke..

I got news for all you folks who think you are getting it for free from your employer, and who will get it for free from Medicare when you retire... Aint so people. Me and my spouse's "free" insurance is near the $11,000/year mark and it aint gonna come down under the current management.

So what we need is National Health Care paid for by a sales tax. That way everyone uses, everyone pays. That would include the illegal alien, drug dealers... everyone..

Why the UN sucks

NEW DELHI (CNN) -- An Indian car manufacturer unveiled its much-anticipated $2,500 "people's car" on Thursday -- a four-wheel passenger vehicle which it hopes will provide a much-needed transportation option for the poor.

Sounds great, eh??

Chief U.N. climate scientist Rajendra Pachauri, who shared last year's Nobel Peace Prize, said last month that he was "having nightmares" about the prospect of the low-cost car

Don't want the huddled masses to be able to travel around, eh?

Heck, they may find their way to Bali..

Ah yes, the race card

is played. I had been wondering how long it would take, now we know.

Obama has been inching towards for sometimes now. His calling forth the memory of MLK almost made it, but not quite. Instead it is has been left to Andrew Kohut, president of the Pew Research Center to opine that it was uneducated whites who caused the pollsters to miss their calls so badly.

There was an education gap, too. College graduates voted for Mr. Obama 39 percent to 34 percent; Mrs. Clinton won among those who had never attended college, 43 percent to 35 percent.

You know, I'd like to buy Andy a PBR and explain it to him. It would go like this.

Andy, the folks you are talking about are the backbone of this country. They work hard, pay their taxes, raise their families and actually join the military and defend our country.

Now stop right there, Andy, and understand something. The background these folks have is drastically different than the "college graduates" who you obviously think "did the right thing." You see, BHO's message has been "change." He paints some glowing picture of never never land where "change" is good. But you see, he never mentions that his change will be to raise taxes, cut and run in the WOT and, based on his removal of his American Flag lapel pin, a law to prevent anyone from wearing one. And for these folks you disapprove of, change usually is bad. Like, change the flat tire and hope they can scrape enough money to buy a new one. Like the company has changed owners... and most of you are fired... These are the folks who look reality in the eye everyday of the week and having known reality, flat out don't believe the BS that BHO has been passing out.

So yeah. When polled that probably grinned and told the pollsters what they thought they wanted to hear.

And when they voted they said, "To hell with this BS. Obama can change his message. This one isn't working."

Sometimes in life people get what they so hugely, desperately and totally deserve.
The pollsters just did. Good-O to every dude and dudette that lied to them. If they fail enough maybe they'll be forced to get a productive job.
