McCain cuts gap to two!

UPDATE AT 8:49 P.M. ET: We reported earlier that the first IBD/Tipp tracking poll for this election has just reported its first results - Obama by two points, 45-43. This is outside the range of all other polls. However, IBD/Tipp had the best record for accuracy in the 2004 election. You can read the internal details of the poll here.

COMMENT: Please note that the poll was taken over a six-day period, rather than the traditional three days for tracking polls. That means it is not as up to date as other trackers, which may account for it being an outlier. Also, accuracy in 2004 is not a guarantee of accuracy this year. I'd be cautious about these results.

In Obama's own words

Give a look see at this video... Watch a working guy ask a question and hear Hussein say, "We just want to spread the wealth around."

Video

The question is, whose wealth??

Survey says................. "Yours!"

Hat tip to Buffy1!

No need for elected officals!!

This is from a forum, see the link and you couldn't make this stuff up.

Having represented public employees (aka government workers) for 15 years I can tell you one thing: they can and are fired for incompetency all the time. It's the incompetent elected officials that we had the most problems with.

Yeah, yeah, I know. Those democratically elected officials, aka Representatives of the People, do get in the way of the "we know best" bureaucrats.

True story

The following comes Grant M..

Once upon a time in a village, a man appeared and announced to the villagers that he would buy monkeys for $10 each.

The villagers seeing that there were many monkeys around, went out to the forest, and started catching them.

The man bought thousands at $10 and as supply started to diminish, the villagers stopped their effort.

He further announced that he would now buy at $20.

This renewed the efforts of the villagers and they started catching monkeys again.

Soon the supply diminished even further and people started going back to their farms.

The offer increased to $25 each and the supply of monkeys became so little that it was an effort to even see a monkey, let alone catch it!

The man now announced that he would buy monkeys at $ 50! However, since he had to go to the city on some business, his assistant would now buy on behalf of him.

In the absence of the man, the assistant told the villagers, 'Look at all these monkeys in the big cage that the man has collected.

I will sell them to you at $35 and when the man returns from the city, you can sell them to him for $50 each.'

The villagers rounded up with all their savings and bought all the monkeys. Then they never saw the man or his assistant again, only monkeys everywhere!

So now you have a better understanding of how the stock market works.

I can't add a thing.

More stuff to make a Leftie's head explode

THE JOB - URINE TEST
(Whoever wrote this one deserves a HUGE pat on the back!)

I HAVE TO PASS A URINE TEST FOR MY JOB... SO I AGREE 100%

Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test.

Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their A--, doing drugs, while I work. . . . Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?

Pass this along if you agree or simply delete if you don't. Hope you all will pass it along, though . . Something has to change in this country -- and soon!!!!!!!

I guess we could title that program, 'Urine or You're Out'.

Just a thought

Obama has spoken...Have you listened?

History is full of those who would rule us writing books that spell out who they are in great detail.

Certainly these two from Hussein have done so.

"Dreams of My Father" -- "I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race."

"Audacity of Hope" -- "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

If you are a leftie

don't watch this video unless you have taken some major trans drugs....
