No need for elected officals!!

This is from a forum, see the link and you couldn't make this stuff up.

Having represented public employees (aka government workers) for 15 years I can tell you one thing: they can and are fired for incompetency all the time. It's the incompetent elected officials that we had the most problems with.

Yeah, yeah, I know. Those democratically elected officials, aka Representatives of the People, do get in the way of the "we know best" bureaucrats.
