Vegas Mayor to Obama.... 10 to 1 I won't be there!!
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) - Mayor Oscar Goodman has refused an invitation to meet with President Obama when he arrives in town on Thursday. Mayor Goodman called President Obama a slow learner after he told Americans not to blow money on a weekend in Las Vegas if they were saving to put their kids through college.
"I've got other things to do quite frankly for my constituents here in Las Vegas who rely on me to do the right thing as a mayor," explained Mayor Goodman.

"misandrist," blogtopus. A misogynist is one who hates or has contempt for women. A misandrist is one who hates or has contempt for men. But it does seem as though she has had a troubled life. (Apologies for linking to a Fox News report, but it seemed to have the most details about her life that I could quickly find, including quotes from her relatives.) Her life doesn't excuse her actions, but it may provide some insight.

The above is from TalkLeft, the best of the Left wing sites. And actually mostly open to opposition views reasonably stated.
And Zorba is not any worse, or better, than the average commentator. But I just couldn't resist posting this as:
Political Correctness Squared.
I mean, apologizing for linking to FNC.

Obama's economy continues to drop as inflation rises..
That, as Jimmy "I hate Israel" Carter taught us, is called stagflation. As prices rise you have less money!
Now Obamie says we are spending too much... but doesn't know what to do...
Makes me want to yell, "Hey Dummy! When I spend too much I quit spending!"
But then I didn't graduate from an elite university and become a community organizer.
Guess I'm just uneducated.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The number of U.S. workers filing new applications for unemployment insurance unexpectedly surged last week, while producer prices increased sharply in January, raising potential hurdles for the economic recovery.
Initial claims for state unemployment benefits increased 31,000 to 473,000, the Labor Department said on Thursday. That compared to market expectations for 430,000.
Another report from the department showed prices paid at the farm and factory gate rose a faster than expected 1.4 percent from December after a 0.4 percent gain in December, as higher gasoline prices and unusually cold temperatures helped boost energy costs.
"When you have PPI moving up and still no progress in the jobs situation, that doesn't bode well for continued improvement in equity prices," said Alan Lancz, president at Alan B. Lancz & Associates Inc in Toledo, Ohio.
