Gamble Gamble

The poker player in me loves this.

The Obama website, which is soliciting funds of up to $2,300, says anyone who makes a contribution to the Obama campaign of $5 or more between now and July 31 "could be one of 10 supporters chosen to meet Barack backstage" in Denver.

It further says that the 10 selected supporters can bring a guest and will be flown to Denver to spend two days at the Democratic Party national convention, including hearing Obama's speech on Aug. 28.

Second place is you get to meet Hussein and Michelle and spend 4 days at the convention.....

Congressional approval - NOT!

Are we supposed to be surprised?

The percentage of voters who give Congress good or excellent ratings has fallen to single digits for the first time in Rasmussen Reports tracking history. This month, just 9% say Congress is doing a good or excellent job. Most voters (52%) say Congress is doing a poor job, which ties the record high in that dubious category.

After all, gasoline is over $4.00 a gallon, 76% of the public want us to start drilling in the US and the Democrats have blocked all efforts.

I would like to see a poll that asked:

"Knowing that the Democratatic leadership has blocked attempts to start drilling for oil off shore and in ANWR, do you believe that they should be retained in office."
