The news is out, all over town, that you've been seen out running 'round.... with apologies to Hank Williams

UPDATED: Reports out of Washington, DC: PRESIDENT OBAMA in a shocking cheating scandal after being caught in a Washington, D.C. Hotel with a former campaign aide.

A confidential investigation has learned that Obama first became close to gorgeous 35 year-old VERA BAKER in 2004 when she worked tirelessly to get him elected to the US Senate, raising millions in campaign contributions.

Now, the investigators are searching for a hotel surveillance videotape.

While Baker has insisted in the past that "nothing happened" between them, reports reveal that top anti-Obama operatives are offering more than $1 million to witnesses to reveal what they know about the alleged hush-hush affair.

Among those being offered money is a limo driver who says in 2004 that he took Vera to a secret hotel rendezvous in a Washington hotel where Obama was staying.

An ENQUIRER reporter has confirmed the limo driver's account of the secret 2004 rendezvous and has also learned that on-site hotel surveillance video camera footage could provide indisputable evidence to the investigation.

You know, I almost feel sorry for him.

  1. What's the point of knowing? If the goal is to dishonour Obama to get rid of him, let's remember that sexual indiscretions, before and during the presidency, didn't get Clinton out of the White House.

It has been a puzzle to me that an impeached USA president still remained in charge of the country, actively campaigned for his wife's bid for the job, at the end of his term, and now often represents America on diplomatic missions.

Amazing that Nixon had to resign. Not that I approve any misconduct, but he was treated very harshly. After all, Clinton lied under oath. How could anyone believe anything he said after that offense?

I doubt a "past adventure" will diminish Obama's standing in the eyes of his blind admirers.

  2. Well, you are right. Catching Clinton didn’t do him a lot of short term harm. But it did keep him busy defending himself so he couldn’t do more harm to the country.
Perhaps it will do the same for Obama, although I am sure you are right in that his admirers will forgive him and claim that we should be more “European” about such things as if Europe has been an example we would want to follow.
I’m kinda mixed on it. On the one hand I see it as a private matter. On the other hand, such things have a way of distracting and defocusing people from doing their jobs. I have observed this in business in several cases. And while I think of the good that can come out of Obama failing in his plans re the country, I wouldn’t want him defocused any more on defense that he already is.
On impeachment. In our system impeachment is the same as indictment. It is done by the House of Representatives. And it is not “criminal” in the sense we think of criminal in the standard criminal justice system. There is no Grand Jury per se. The Constitution refers only to
“The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”
Once impeached the President is tried by the Senate with the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court presiding.
    Clinton beat the rap.

  3. Thank you for the clarification.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I often think that, while Clinton, and people in his administration, were kept busy defending him, some terrorists were being trained as pilots, in USA, right under his eyes. They were kept busy too learning skills for the 9/11 flights. They didn't jump in a plane knowing it all the day Bush became President.

  4. Some people claim that it was the Repubs fault that the terrorists slipped through the system because they were attacking Clinton.
Of course the truth is that the “Chinese Firewall” installed by Jamie Gorelick of Clinton’s DOJ kept the CIA and FBI from talking to each other and the FBI was so concerned over the civil rights of one of the Muslims they wouldn’t look at the hard drive that their Minneapolis field agent wanted them to.
And even after the USS Cole attack the DOS hamstrung the investigation in Yemen.
