Call your Congressman

It's past the middle of May and still no hot weather. My cucumber seeds and okra seeds have rotted in the ground due to the cool very wet weather, yet our elected officials remain locked on to a problem that doesn't exist and are ready to give gasoline prices another jolt just so they can pander to the environmental wackos.

“[L]et me tell you what’s heading down the tracks,” Sessions said to BMI on May 14. “In a few weeks, we expect that the cap-and-trade legislation that’s been voted out of Sen. Barbara Boxer’s (D-Calif.) Environment and Public Works Committee will be on the floor and according to the Environmental Protection Agency it will increase gas prices by $1.50. The National Association of Manufacturers says it will increase it as much as $5 per gallon.”

Just think dear hearts. The range is an INCREASE from $1.50 to $5.00... If we split the difference that would be $2.75... that would run $4.00 gas to $6.75.

At what point does the economy collapse?? What in the blue eyed hell do the people we have elected think they are doing?? Well, let me tell you. They have a great retirement package, a wonderful health plan, their travel is paid for and they have great lunches in their in house cafeteria. Plainer. Most of them haven't a clue and too many don't give a flip. Worse. The problem is caused by laws THEY PASSED.

And the problem is not a problem. Even if it existed it would be a plus. Why do you think Greenland is called Greenland? It was GREEN! That means they could grow FOOD.

You know, FOOD. That stuff the Lefties one said of: "Food is."

And that's the problem. You have people so disconnected from reality they don't even recognize that food must be grown. Hell, they even think it wouldn't be picked if it wasn't for cultural sojourners.

And in the meantime, along with the no increase in temperature for 10 years, the 29th coldest winter in 114 years we find another scientist who is backing away from his previously over stated claims.

WASHINGTON - Global warming isn't to blame for the recent jump in hurricanes in the Atlantic, concludes a study by a prominent federal scientist whose position has shifted on the subject.

Not only that, warmer temperatures will actually reduce the number of hurricanes in the Atlantic and those making landfall, research meteorologist Tom Knutson reported in a study

Anybody care to guess why this report was released late on Sunday???

Can you say: "The editors want this buried, boys and girls?"

Click on this linkand call your Senators. Call your Representative. Tell them you are tired of being worried sick over losing your job because of the price of oil. Tell them that GW is a theory that is falling apart. Tell them that if they don't pass laws that enable immediate drilling for oil you will vote against them come November no matter if you have to write in your dog's name.

Go ahead. Take 15 minutes this morning and tell them that your are GD tired of their BS and demand they start being part of the solution instead of always the problem.

  1. Ah...it's nice to have one to basically agree on. Though I don't doubt the pollutants we release effects the earth in some way, shape, or form...I think she's a big girl that Mother Nature, and she can hack anything we can dish out. At worst we'll kill ourselves, but the earth will be right as rain.

If that crap bill passes look out...there will be riots, and for no good reason except to further seperate the working man from his money. Shameful.
