Can't we all just get along?
Obviously, people shouldn’t be lighting anything on fire inside airplanes. That said, all the big Christmas airline incident really shows to me is how little punch our dread terrorist adversaries really pack.
That has to be one of the dumbest statements I have ever read.
Once again, this seems like a pretty unserious plot. And even if you did manage to blow up an airplane in mid-air, that would be both a very serious crime and a great tragedy, but hardly a first-order national security threat.
But the above tops it.

And thinking that this guy actually lives here and is a fellow citizen...well I still don't know whether to laugh, cry or puke. But the latter seems to be appropriate
The only thing that seems even close was this written by Markos Moulitsas Zuniga of the DailyKOS.
That said, I feel nothing over the death of merceneries [sic]. They aren't in Iraq because of orders, or because they are there trying to help the people make Iraq a better place. They are there to wage war for profit. Screw them.
He was referring to the death of the food workers in Iraq who were killed and then their bodies were dragged through the streets and put on display. (We have since captured the leader in this and three SEALS are being Court martialed because one of them may have....................GASP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!............hit him........ What idiots we have for leaders.)
