Tea Party Pictures from Nashville

Somehow I doubt that the White House reads this blog.... but maybe someone will tell Obamie about the nation wide tax protests. I am sure that chumming around with South American dictators is a lot more fun than watching Nancy and Harry run the country, but he really needs to know!

Hat tip to TNVolunteer1973 from his Tennessean comment.

  1. Let's see, BHO meets with 2 South America leaders, both of whom were elected to office, but because they're Lefties, they can only be characterized as 'dictators'.

I didn't know about this new definition of dictator. When did you come up with this?

  2. Dictators are elected all the time. See Nazi Germany... See Soviet Union...See Iraq... See Cuba... See Venezuela where Chaez has just seized all the assests of the opposition leader...

Wait!!!!!!! Obamie must have been asking him how to do that!!!!!!!

  3. See Nazi Germany... See Soviet Union...See Iraq... See Cuba... See VenezuelaSo, in the first 4 countries you mentioned, they had elections that turned out like the latest one in Venezuela?:

VENEZUELA'S left-wing president, Hugo Chavez, has suffered a blow after his party lost several state and municipal races.
It failed in the election for mayor of Caracas and also lost in the oil-rich state of Zulia.

Mr Chavez won 17 out of 22 states on Sunday, thanks to victories in mainly rural states, but his opponents now control areas representing a third of the
    country's 26 million people.
    and before that:

On August 15, 2007, Chavez proposed a broad package of measures as part of a constitutional reform. Among other measures, he called for an end to presidential term limits and proposed limiting central bank autonomy, strengthening state expropriation powers and providing for public control over international reserves as part of an overhaul of Venezuela's constitution. In accordance with the 1999 constitution, Chavez proposed the changes to the constitution, which were then approved by the National Assembly. The final test was a December 2, 2007 referendum.[39] The referendum was defeated, with 51% of the voters rejecting the amendments proposed by Chávez.[40]To contrast with how real dictators operate:

With this combination of legislative and executive power, Hitler's government further suppressed the remaining political opposition. The Communist Party of Germany and the Social Democratic Party (SPD) were banned, while all other political parties were forced to dissolve themselves. Finally, on 14 July, the Nazi Party was declared the only legal party in Germany. Labour unions were merged with employers' federations into an organisation under Nazi control, and the traditional autonomy of German state governments was abolished.[citation needed]Haven't heard of Chavez banning those parties that are in opposition to him, he's obviously not a very good dictator if he forgets that move.......

As for last election Chavez ran in, from the Wikipedia:

Chávez again won the OAS and Carter Center certification of the national election on December 3, 2006 with 63% of the vote,[36] beating his closest challenger Manuel Rosales who conceded his loss on December 4, 2006.[37] After his victory, Chávez promised a more radical turn towards socialism.[38]Funny, I can't remember anyone in the first 4 countries you mentioned only winning with a 63% of the vote.

Obamie must have been asking him how to do that!!!!!!!Sure, that's the ticket, yeah!

Chaez has just seized all the assests of the opposition leader...

LinkProsecutor Katiuska Plaza said there is sufficient evidence to believe Manuel Rosales is guilty of embezzlement that damaged “state patrimony.”Chavez’s critics call the illicit enrichment charges against Rosales a political witch-hunt meant to emasculate the opposition amid broader efforts to reduce the power of elected official opposed to the socialist leader.

Government supporters call it a simple corruption investigation and accuse Rosales of evading justice. Authorities say Rosales, mayor of the second city of Maracaibo who lost a 2006 presidential bid against Chavez, was unable to explain some $60,000 in income when he was governor of the oil-rich state of Zulia. Prosecutors have requested Rosales be detained and tried in jail. No date has been set for the start of the trial.

Last month, political allies of Rosales said he went into hiding, insisting he could not receive a fair trial under the Chavez government.
I dunno, somebody goes on the run from Johnny Law, I'd be inclined to believe that they have something to hide.

    As for Morales:

Morales was first elected President of Bolivia on December 18, 2005, with 53.7% of the popular vote in an election that saw the participation of 84.5% of the national electorate. [3] Two and a half years later he substantially increased this majority; in a recall referendum on August 14, 2008, more than two thirds of voters (67.4%) voted to keep him in power. [4]Yep, another dictator, he just rigged the results of the recall election..........

Thanks for the laughs, paranoia never came out so hilarious as when it manifests itself with the help of your superior writing skills......

  4. Weeder, if you don't know that Chavez is a dictator then I recommend a fish oil diet.

  5. If you could find me examples in Nazi Germany, the USSR, or pre-invasion Iraq, where the opposition was allowed to exist, let alone elect a mayor in the capital city of the country, you might have a point.

I respectfully suggest that you need a bigger change than fish oil, perhaps you should cut out the snake oil sites from whence you derive your facts.

  12. I'm gonna leave that up for a while but it is your last.

And the answer is, it is my house. There is no "debate." You are here as a guest.

Now since you can't act like one, good day!
