Sea Ice and Obama and the UN

Cousin Brown Bear and I have been terribly worried over Cousin Polar Bear drowning because the sea ice is melting due to the UN's mandated global warming.... some of you have asked why the UN doesn't mandate an end to hunger. To that I say, there are important things and less important things. Now I ask you, which is the most important, ending hunger or increasing the power of the UN?

But good news is at hand!

Sea ice is actually at 1979 levels! That, of course, was back in the days when we were being told that we were all going to die because of global cooling.

Thanks to a rapid rebound in recent months, global sea ice levels now equal those seen 29 years ago, when the year 1979 also drew to a close.

Ice levels had been tracking lower throughout much of 2008, but rapidly recovered in the last quarter. In fact, the rate of increase from September onward is the fastest rate of change on record, either upwards or downwards.

The data is being reported by the University of Illinois's Arctic Climate Research Center, and is derived from satellite observations of the Northern and Southern hemisphere polar regions.

Do you think Hussein's new science advisor is on the phone with the good news?
