With the New Year upon us, we need to remember who we are dealing with.
10. You refine heroin for a living, but you have a moral objection to beer.
9. You own a $300 machine gun and a $5,000 rocket launcher, but you can't afford shoes.
8. You have more wives than teeth.
7. You think vests come in two styles: bullet-proof and suicide.
6. You can't think of anyone you HAVEN'T declared Jihad against.
5. You consider television dangerous, but routinely carry ammunition in your robe.
4. You've never been asked, "Does this burka make my ass look fat?"
3. You were amazed to discover that cell phones have uses other than setting off roadside bombs.
2. You've never uttered the phrase, "I love what you've done with your cave."
1. You wipe your butt with your bare left hand, but consider bacon unclean
My thanks to my old bud WR.

Time to get serious
All Moslems are not terrorists, but so far this latest burst of the worst man can demonstrate are all Moslems.
So when I read of another ME politician being killed, and the killer then killing themselves and twenty others, I am not surprised. And when I read of the campaign manager of Barack Hussein Obama blaming Hilary I am not surprised. Just as the innocents must be slaughtered in Pakistan to terrify others, so must America be blamed, although Hillary is certainly a surprising choice.
I remember well when I first heard of terrorism touching America in a direct way. I had just arrived at the Lexington Hyatt. It was raining. All in all it had been a nasty drive and I found the news disconcerting wondering how quickly Carter would take action.
How stupid of me to think that the man from Plains with Lust in his heart but no sand in his craw would do anything. If you ever want to see the crucible that brought forth modern terrorism, study Carter’s inept performance.
And don’t leave out Reagan, Bush the elder and Clinton. All thought they had bigger fish to fry, and all thought they could placate the killers and control them through “statecraft.”
How stupid of them to ignore thousands of years of history that showed that the ME had always been awash in rulers using religion to control the peasants and use them in their drive for power. But they did.
Now we have Bush the W, and while I give him E for effort, it is time for him to stop calling Islam “the religion of peace.” Billions of its followers may be peaceful, but quite a few of them claim that the world has to be converted and if it takes killing some innocents, so be it.
And the problem now is that it is very likely that this latest disaster of the State Department will result in Pakistan breaking apart and the terrorists getting their hands on a nuclear device, or dozen. If that happens you can expect hundreds of thousands of US citizens dead.
It is time for the US to make it plain to those in the ME that if the US or Israel is harmed the results will be a lot of rulers become “ex” and a few ancient cities becoming dust. Simpler. Fix your problems people or we will fix them for you.

Xmas and light bulbs... and the use to be free
market guy George Walker Bush.
It's not that I don't like compact fluorescent lights (CFL). I do. It's just that I don't think the government should be telling us we must use them. In fact, I hope people resist, because when they keep on using old faithfuls and paying for the use, that will help cover the fixed cost the electric utility companies must pay to remain in business.
Yes Virginia, there is no Santa Claus. If we all reduce our usage by, say 50%, the per unit cost of what we will use will have to go up to match that "cost." Otherwise, they will go out of business. And although we all know that corporations are evil nasty creatures with evil nasty bosses... except for PBS and NPR of course... having your local electric utility "turn out the lights" would be no fun. No fun at all. So as universal usage goes down, per KWh price is going to have to go up.
Money is made in this world when someone knows something others don't. And that is not illegal, unless the CEO withholds bad news while shorting the company's stock.. and other such things.... So my plan has been, and I have executed it brilliantly I must say, was to reduce my usage by, among other things, using CFLs. And since I have reduced my usage with no change in life style the plan was working.
Now, George Walker Bush has abandoned his free market roots and ruined it all. He has told people they must change, and put the full force of the government behind it. Oh the horror!!!
So pay no attention to the cost savings, the fact you can buy them in various "colors," use them with dimmer switches, etc. And that wee bit of mercury is meaningless.
Oh. You disagree?? Ah. I see you are smarter than most. Because us smarties know that the three people who run America have sat down and figured out that in about 30 years the environment will have returned to a pristine state and the EPA would be out of business throwing thousands of do googers out of work. But now, with all those CFLs being dumped we will have thousands of clean up sites!!!
Knowing stuff like this is why I support this organization.
Merry Christmas! And keep those lights blazing!

So you think you have a deer stand?
An illegal alien lesson
Took a few days off.. I did… waited patiently for the delivery trucks to bring me my purchases. Now I have it all complete and stacked in the corner, waiting to be wrapped. Hohoho. I have long believed that Christmas should be reserved for children and the ACLU… I mean they do need something to do.
So in the spirit of Christmas I suggested side dishes of salsa and chips for the snacks on Christmas eve, and huevos rancheros for Christmas morning breakfast. My wife, who doesn’t have to be obeyed but you will wish you had if you didn’t, nixed it immediately.
“If you want chips just look at your stomach,” she said with an devilish smile. “And if I want anything Mexican I’ll just go out to WalMart and watch the Mexicans buy stuff made in China using US dollars…”
Actually she didn’t say that. I think it went something like, “You must be kidding me.” or words to that effect.
But if she didn’t I am sure that’s what she meant, because that gives us a perfect look at capitalism, fair trade and why lettuce is $1.58 per sorry looking head.
And it is hard to not admire the Mexicans you see shopping. In most cases they are as a family group, the children are scrubbed and polite, all in all they remind me of my family shopping at U-Tote-Em 60 years ago. Good folks, just trying to help themselves.
The problem is, about 13,000,000 are illegal aliens. That’s not a few people trying to make a better life, but an invasion. They increasingly live in ghettos, read Spanish newspapers, listen to Spanish radio, watch Spanish TV and are being taught that the US stole the southwest from Mexico. Their children go to schools were they are taught in Spanish and their babies are called “anchor babies” because they give the parents an almost automatic green card and citizenship path. The children also get a Medicaid card and the free treatment that comes with that.
They mostly are here to make money, of which they send a large part back to Mexico rather put it into the local economy, and worse, they are being told by politicians they can vote.
Link San Diego
And if you complain about any of this you are told that you are a heartless bigot who wants America to remain America.
You are also told that they don’t cost anything because they contribute more to the economy than they cost. In fact, the Udall Report claims that in Arizona they contribute almost a billion dollars more.
Link Udall Report
The problem is that this isn’t true.
Jobs exist separately from the nationality of the employee.
If an illegal alien is not there to take the job it will be taken by a legal worker. And the legal worker will pay FIT and FICA and buy auto insurance, and do all the other things that legal citizens do.
Will the employer have to pay more for the labor and provide better working conditions? In many cases, yes. And that, as our fathers who belonged to unions and demanded such things, is a good thing.
So when someone tells you that the illegal aliens are “good” for the economy, just ask them how many jobs they brought with them.

If an election can turn on a sentence, this could be the one: “You don't need papers for voting.”
On Thursday night, Francine Busby, the Democratic candidate for the 50th Congressional District, was speaking before a largely Latino crowd in Escondido when she uttered those words. She said yesterday she simply misspoke.

How about a joke??
Got this from David.
Thanks Dave!
I was depressed last night so I called Lifeline.
Got a call center in Pakistan.
I told them I was suicidal.
They got all excited and asked if I could drive a truck.
Thanks Dave!

More proof that the US education establishment is all screwed up.
Now, she told the students, come illegally. Forge your documents, find a way across the border. Then, research real ads and find a place to live in Columbus. Figure out what it would cost, how to get food. Plan how to survive.
And then we get this...
At first, Yana didn't want to participate. She said as much to her father one night. She told him it was stupid, a bunch of busywork. He walked away from her and emerged from the basement a few minutes later with a faded box. It contained the paperwork from Yana's adoption from a Russian orphanage in 1994. Yana knew about it, but she'd never seen the papers.
Hey, Daddy!! You adopted your daughter. She didn't sneak in. Why are you acting like she did??
And then....
This is the fifth year that Vieyra has assigned this project to students in her Spanish V class...They say, 'That's such a hot topic. Are you sure you want to go there?' "...But she cautions that the point isn't to sway the students, only to teach them a little empathy.
Let me see. I am gonna get some empathy started, but I don't want to influence you.
Yeah. Uh huh. Sure. You bet. (That's sarcasm, folks.)
And now the truth finally emerges...
"At the very least, they'll certainly be the people who vote on them. Shouldn't they learn something about it all now?"
You bet, teacher. They should learn that people who come here illegally have committed a crime and should be deported.
Where were these ladies when I needed them?
DANBURY -- A 33-year-old woman was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault Saturday after allegedly groping a man playing Santa Claus at the Danbury Fair mall.
And is this guy for real?
The mall Santa told police that Lamy touched him inappropriately while sitting on his lap.

You know, when an American Male starts to complain about some 33 year old babe... "groping" him....and all 33 year olds are babes to ROFs. Well, there is no hope. Somebody call bin Ladin and ask him when he wants to assume power.. gasp...Surremder Reid was right after all..

If you are looking for dumb and dumber
just look at our educational system:

Doubt my dumb and dumber title? Check the following out.
Couldn't get the parents? Probably because they were working to make enough money to pay their taxes to support, most likely, a bloated school administation.
I gotta wonder if these folks ever heard of making a child sit in the Principal's office? No. Gotta take her downtown.

OCALA, Fla. -- A 10-year old Ocala girl brought her lunch to school and a small kitchen knife to cut it. She now faces a felony charge after being arrested. The school and the sheriff's office disagree on the reason for the arrest.

She did not use it inappropriately. She did not threaten anyone with it. She didn't pull it out and brandish it. Nothing of that nature," explained Marion County School Spokesman Kevin Christian.
But a couple of teachers took the utensil and called the sheriff. When deputies arrived, they were unable to get the child's parents on the phone, so they arrested her and took her to the county's juvenile assessment center.

With apologizes to Shakespeare
otherwise known as that dude who caused us much misery in Senior lit, the question has become….. To torture or not to torture? That is the question. I mean we all know that only the evil ones of the world torture. And torture is immoral. Right?
Oh, really?? Let me pose a scenario to you. This afternoon you drive over to your local shopping center to shop. As you get out of your car you see an elderly lady walking towards her car one row over. You can also see two young thugs semi crouched between two cars, obviously waiting to mug her. As you start to move, one of the thugs sees you and makes a threatening gesture. Do you yell at her? Run at the thugs? Honk your horn? Dial 911? Or stand frozen in place, watching them jump out, grab her purse, knock her down and dash off?
If you chose to do nothing, I submit that you have just committed an immoral act. You have committed a sin of omission. We are our brother’s keeper.
The Left in particular, and some fuzzy headed Republicans are currently bent out if shape over waterboarding. I’m not.
This link says why.

Volume 1 No. 1
Welcome to Tall Cotton, and if you are not familiar with the term, it means that you are doing well, and I hope you are. If you are not, then get up off your butt and start fixing your problem.
Others can help, but only you can fix your problem.
If by that you think I am another "conservative Republican," you are wrong. I am a "social liberal" who thinks that a strong national defense is absolutely required, and that we are indeed in a very long war with radical elements of the Islamic faith.
At the same time I also believe that we do have some serious social problems in this country and that we need to do some thinking about ways to fix them. For example, you can't have a society in which the low end can't afford health insurance, the high end not caring what it costs and the middle paying for it. That's a formula for, in the long run, disaster.
So if you have found yourself in "Tall Cotton," stick around, come back soon and drop me a comment right now. All I ask is you stay mostly on topic, keep your language PG13 and NO porn of any kind. And no personal attacks.
