1. As a career politician, you have been on the public tit for FIFTY
YEARS.

2.. I have been paying Social Security taxes for 48 YEARS (since I was 15
years old. I am now 63).

3 My Social Security payments, and those of millions of other
Americans, were safely tucked away in an interest bearing account for
decades until you political pukes decided to raid the account and give
OUR money to a bunch of zero ambition losers in return for votes, thus
bankrupting the system and turning Social Security into a Ponzi scheme
that would have made Bernie Madoff proud.

4. Recently, just like Lucy and Charlie Brown, you and your ilk pulled the
proverbial football away from millions of American seniors nearing
retirement and moved the goalposts for full retirement from age 65 to
age 67. NOW, you and your shill commission are proposing to move the
goalposts YET AGAIN.

5 I, and millions of other Americans, have been paying into Medicare
from Day One, and now you morons propose to change the rules of the
game.. Why? Because you idiots mismanaged other parts of the economy
to such an extent that you need to steal money from Medicare to pay
the bills.

6. I, and millions of other Americans, have been paying income taxes our
entire lives, and now you propose to increase our taxes yet again. Why?
Because you incompetent bastards spent our money so profligately that
you just kept on spending even after you ran out of money. Now, you come
to the American taxpayers and say you need more to pay off YOUR debt.

To add insult to injury, you label us "greedy" for calling "bullshit" on
your incompetence. Well, Captain Bullshit, I have a few questions for
YOU.

1. How much money have you earned from the American taxpayers during
your pathetic 50-year political career?

2. At what age did you retire from your pathetic political career, and
how much are you receiving in annual retirement benefits from the
American taxpayers?

3. How much do you pay for YOUR government provided health insurance?

4. What cuts in YOUR retirement and healthcare benefits are you
proposing in your disgusting deficit reduction proposal, or, as usual,
have you exempted yourself and your political cronies?

It is you, Captain Bullshit, and your political co-conspirators called
Congress who are the "greedy" ones. It is you and your fellow nutcases
who have bankrupted America and stolen the American dream from
millions of loyal, patriotic taxpayers. And for what? Votes. That's right,
sir. You and yours have bankrupted America for the sole purpose of
advancing your pathetic political careers. You know it, we know it, and
you know that we know it.

I bought and read Obama's book, Audacity of Hope . It was difficult to read considering his attitude toward us and everything American. Let me add a phrase he use to describe his attitude toward whites. He harbors a "COIL OF RAGE". His words not mine.

A few days ago I posted a comment regarding the Norway attacks.

“I have a great deal of trouble accepting that the Oklahoma killers or the Norway killers or the IRS killer were practicing Christians.

I also have a tendency to bring this up.

Given that the US Christian population is around 300 million and the Muslim population is around 1.5 million, what weighting should we give to the population size disparity?? 300:1? 280:1?

I mean if all factors besides population number are the same, shouldn't the number of attacks be the same?

And don't forget the known planned/attempted unsuccessful attacks stopped by our security forces.

So if the number of attacks by radical Muslims since 1991 are around 20, shouldn't there be a million or so attacks by Christians???

Actually, you are missing the point of Bin Laden's response, which is quite reasonable. He is stating that this jihad was instigated by the aggression of the US (not the other way around), and when that aggression ends, so will the Jihad. The world he is speaking of is the Islamic world, in which the US has no constitutional or legal jurisdiction.

No. The US was in Saudi Arabia at the invitation of that government. We were also providing billions of AID to Pakistan, Egypt and Israel.
We had also aided the Taliban in their fight with the Soviets. (An enemy of my enemy is my friend.) In 1997 there was no aggression unless you want to go back to when Reagan tried to set up a peace keeping group in Lebanon and count that peace keeping effort as aggression.

And since I suspect that you are either Muslim or a sympathizer to them, perhaps Hamas, I would guess that anything anyone does that seeks to oppose their efforts is regarded as “aggression.”

And, can you define me the “Islamic world?” Do you mean the theocratic governments of SA, Iran, Syria and soon to be Libya and Egypt?

Further, the final sentence reads, “it must desist from aggressive intervention against Muslims in the whole world.”

If he had wanted to say what you claim then he would have said, “it must desist from aggressive intervention against the Muslim world.”

You also write:

Our foreign policy is neither unsustainable nor illegal and is the result of radical Muslim terrorism. By watching Europe many of us here in the US have concluded that the goal of the Islam radicals is the establishment of Sharia law in the US. We consider that unacceptable and are perfectly willing to accept a long war, just as we did with the Soviets.

So far we have won our wars, although we have lost more than a few bloody battles.

Only this time around it would be nice if we could get some help from Europe. As Patton once said, “I don’t like to pay for the same ground twice.”

Smart Meters - Brave New World?

I picked this up from the net. Don't remember where or even when. I just filed it away and happened to run into it this morning.

The video is interesting, fairly simple and makes a solid point. Although the utility company may promise that the sole purpose of the smart meter is to help educate you on when and how much electricty you are using we all know that the method of educating you will be to say:

"Power used in the peak busy hours, 6AM-8AM and 6PM-8PM, is 35 cents/KWH. 8AM-6PM is 15 cents/KWH. 8PM-11PM is 10 cents/KWH. 11PM-6AM is 5 cents/KWH."

They want to reduce usage in the peak busy hours because if they don't they will have to increase the capacity of their distribution system much sooner than initially engineered for because of the expected use of hybrid autos that charge their batteries from an AC source (Volt) rather than strictly from a motor driven generator such as Pirus.

Let's just call it an unintended consequence.

It was another utility, the telephone company, that introduced the concept of time of day billing. Usuage billing started to become popular in the late 60's but was basically used for billing for Extended Area Service (EAS). I know this is a strange concept for a generation use to calling around the world for 98 cents, but EAS worked under the concept that calling outside your local area of interest might not be Long Distance, but it did require additional investment by the telco for a service that not everyone needed. So as populations expanded, the resistance to rate increases brought in usage billing. You could buy X minutes for calls outside your area. Or, in some cases, the telco would just bill you for more than a base number of minutes.

In the early 70's as computers became more available for commercial use, Measured Message Rate Service (MMRS) raised its head. In that concept you would pay a low flat rate but then pay for each call based on distance, length of call and time of day.

MMRS never flew. Back then we still had Public Service Commissions dedicated to providing Universal Telephone Service. Not so much anymore.

And technology, spurred by deregulation, brought us into a excess capacity situation and the low prices we currently see. But that won't last.

But I digress.

Another unintended consequence is the main point of the video.

Once personal data is available someone will collect and use it. The police, for example, can say, "We need this because by knowing what you normally use at 11AM we can call you, on your cellphone, and ask if you are at home. If you are, fine. If you're not then we can take necessary action."

Of course they don't even need to call you, they can just call the cellphone company and find our where you are.

Maybe that's good, maybe that's bad. But either way your personal habits and actions are available to others.

Brave New World?

No? Well, no police department would ever allow itself to be bribed to use your cell phone to find where you are. Right? And illegal wrire taps? Never happen. Right?

Budget Slashed!

I HOPE YOU WILL PARTICIPATE AND DO YOUR PART

The President ordered the cabinet to cut $100 million from the $3.5
trillion federal budget. I'm so impressed by this sacrifice that I have
decided to do the same thing with my personal budget. I spend about $2000 a
month on groceries, household expenses, medicine, utilities, etc., but it's
time to get out the budget-cutting axe, go through my expenses, and cut
back.

I'm going to cut my spending at exactly the same ratio, 1/35,000 of
my total budget. After doing the math, it looks like instead of spending
$2000 a month, I'm going to have to cut that number by six cents. Yes, I'm
going to have to get by with $1999.94, but that's what sacrifice is all
about. I'll just have to do without some things, that are, frankly,
luxuries.

Did the president actually think no one would do the math?

Jewish Boycott........Brilliant

Now I realize that the real problems we face with Muslims are the result of actions by the radical Muslims.

And I realize that there are millions of Muslims who are moderate and want only to live their lives in peace.

It's just that I don't see these millions of moderates demonstrating against the radicals when the radicals attack us.

So maybe the moderates should consider this and think about what they can do to equal these achievements.

And maybe that would encourage them to shut down the radicals and we can all live in peace.
