That's exactly what they did. If Obama had been a man, he would have refused the prize. He is such a fool. He didn't see how embarrassing this was for him, and USA. And that, in the future, he would have to explain to the Nobel Committee possible unpeaceful decisions.
Jean Paul Sartre refused the Literature Prize, in 1964. I thought it was great. Sartre said he wanted to remain free. Taking the prize would have betrayed his whole philosophy and might have impeded his future books.
Now Obama has his hands tied. How about if he has to change his mind about the wars? How about if he has to start a new one with Iran? How about if he can't cut down the USA arsenal of nuclear weapons? How about if he has to boycott China? Etc. Etc. Etc.
Sane people don't take a prize for what they hope they will do. They take it for what they've already done. This was the moment when Obama could have proven that he was somebody. He blew it....
An Engineer is not a Scientist. He doesn't think like a Scientist. He doesn't have the same value-system in his judgments. But he's even more anti-mystic than the Scientist!
- John W Cambell, Jr - Analog Science Fiction Science Fact, December 1966
Which explains why many scientists buy into the man made warming hoax and many engineers reject it. Scientists want to know why and believe. Engineers want to build.

Even the blogs on the Left are laughing. Few can justify it and most don't try.
ReplyDeleteBut don't worry. They will all find a reason to unite behind The Chosen.
