Hussein and muslims

and now questions... and we get some answers from World Net Daily.

Obama employed and continues to employ senior staffers who belong to the Nation of Islam, and the presidential candidate has some "worrying" ties to the controversial group headed by Louis Farrakhan, a former key Obama insider told WND.....

The former insider, who spoke on condition of anonymity, expressed particular concern that Obama employed at least two Nation members in his early days as a state senator

The former insider identified early employees of Obama as Nation of Islam members, including Jennifer Mason, who still works in Obama's Chicago Senate office as director of constituency services – a key community liaison position.

Also, Cynthia K. Miller, whom the former insider identified as a Nation of Islam activist, served Obama in his early state Senate days and later as treasurer for his U.S. senatorial campaign.

Axelrod sits on the finance committee of St. Sabina, the Chicago Catholic parish that was led by controversial pastor Michael Pfleger, an outspoken Farrakhan supporter who hosted the Nation of Islam chief at his parish several times.

The former insider also identified former Obama worker Shakir Muhammad as a Nation of Islam activist. Muhammad was paid by Obama's office as a photographer in the late 1990s.

We know Hussein isn't an America hater even though he hung out with a preacher who said "God damn America."

We know Hussein isn't a terrlorist even though he hung out with an admitted terrorist.

We know Hussein isn't a Nation of Islam supporter even thouhgh he employs and hangs out them.

How do we know???

Well, he told us.

Now that settles it for me. Yep. No doubt. End of discussion.

Dumb and dumber and stupid

If Hussein and his minions were truly smart they would be doing their best to soothe the ego of Hillary and her supporters. Has he? Read this from Politico and decide.

Barack Obama would like to remind you of something: He won and she didn’t. It’s about him now and not her. He has made history, and she is history.

Not that Hillary Clinton admitted to any of that in her nonconcession concession speech Tuesday night, after Obama attained the delegate votes he needs for the Democratic presidential nomination

For someone giving indications she would like to be Obama’s running mate, Clinton was surprisingly ungracious. In fact, if you had just awakened from a (blissful) 17-month sleep, you would have thought she had won.

“Because of you, we won together the swing states necessary to get to 270 electoral votes,” she told the crowd in New York City. “I want the nearly 18 million Americans who voted for me to be respected, to be heard and no longer to be invisible.”

But her fighting words only increased the need for Obama to show that he can be strong, tough and in charge. Clinton’s unwillingness to recognize Obama as the victor only increased the need for Obama to act like a president and not like a doormat. And denying her a vice presidential slot may be a way of doing that.

"Stupid is as stupid does" is one of my favorite movie quotes. (Forest Gump)

He made history because he received 90-95% of the black vote, and in the early going he received a fair amount of the so-called blue collar vote. His so called "Iowa Event" happened because it was a caucus in which the "blue collar" voters couldn't attend because they were working. Later, as his associations with various people who are not acceptable to the mainstream became known, his white voter count dropped, and he showed he couldn't win the "must" states of Ohio and PA. And this:

It has been a hard-fought and sometimes bitter campaign, but Obama is not, one of his senior advisers assured me Tuesday night, going to spend a lot of time in the next few months wooing Clinton supporters whose feelings may be hurting.

“I think there are always immediate feelings of disappointment and anger,” Anita Dunn said. “But in the months ahead, he must appeal not just to the constituency groups who favored her in the primaries, but those he wants in the general election, and that includes independents and Republicans.”

Yeah, I wouldn't either. Especially if I had the support of Maxine Waters, the notable mainstream Democrat (sarc alert):

“Look at how many switched today to Obama,” he said. “Look at the Clinton supporters, look at Maxine Waters [the congresswoman from California who endorsed Hillary Clinton in late January but switched to Obama on Tuesday], who were passionate advocates for Hillary, but who switched to Obama.”

Shorter and plainer in Hussein's own words.

Hold on a minute sweetie.... the boys will tell you when they want dinner.....

The cumulating loss of freedom

in Europe and Canada has led me to think of the old leftist horses that we thought were dead and gone, but now find the disease they spread lives on.

Bill Whittle, who writes the outstanding blog ejectejecteject recently made the point in a LA radio station interview see blog)that early on cultures and countries struggle and develop a a true appreciation for what they have done. As success comes, the wealth obtained allows the so-called philosophers, who have no contact with reality, to decide that the country is wrong, etc., etc. This is then transmitted through the teachers to the students.

This is easy to see. Our so called elite schools produce people who hate America, yet they are worshipped by many. The question becomes, why? I was reminded of Pierre Trudeau who sowed the vines now choking freedom in Canada.

Pierre Trudeau was quick-witted, and wits are generally attractive. The mind, as Raquel Welch once remarked, is an erogenous zone. People who aren't especially smart are especially impressed by nimble brains. This is particularly true of people who have been educated beyond their intellectual means, which describes the majority of this country's, or perhaps any country's, chattering classes. They turned out to be the engines of Trudeaumania.

We now have a candidate for President who says nothing well. He is adored by the press and his minions and we see the Democrats ignoring a candidate who, poll after poll has shown, could win in November for one who has a much slimmer chance.

Thank God.

Hagel and Spiegel's Love Fest

Spiegel has an interview with with US Senator Hagel, a well known RINO and anti-war type.

Hagel's comments are his usual drivel about cooperation mixed with Bush bashing. Note that he doesn't reject the Sec of State job should we elect Hussein. (God forbid!). Many will key on that. But to me the outrage is this:

SPIEGEL: And what does America expect from the Europeans? George W. Bush has been an easy president, because it was easy for Europeans not to follow him, for example in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Yes dear Europe, it is easy to drift into a world in which your native population is dwindling to the point that many say that by 2050 will be an Islamic theoracy. It will be easier then. Pray five times a day or have your head chopped off.

It is easy to live in a world where people are put into prison for saying politically incorrect things. Just don't express opinions.

You know, we fought WWII to defeat the Nazis and save freedom. Listening to the children and grandchildren of those we saved makes me think again of this:

"The evil that men do lives after them; the good is oft interred with their bones."
-- Shakesphere - Antony of Caeser

The problem for me is watching how Europe so easily does this. Do they teach no history?

What a guy!

Green Topaz read my post about carbon offsets, and has this link to his site where he provides carbon offsets for free.

I urge you to obtain your very own free carbon offset as soon as possible.

And I must say his (?) public efforts will undoubtedly lead to fame, fortune and an arrest by the Global Warming Police.

If you don't tolerate all, who will decide?

As the article points out, Lehto is a totally unsympathetic character. But isn't free speech about free speech for all?

Seppo Lehto is one such character, and now he has just been convicted and sentenced for inciting ethnic hatred. He will spend more than two years in prison for posting his noxious opinions on his blog.

If you shut down such as Lehto on the margins, aren't you shutting down all dissent? Because if it is permitted, it is not dissent, just as the barking of the lap dog isn't the barking of the hounds in yard.

Something very bad is happening in Europe, and it isn't being done by who we feared, the Soviets, but by laws passed that says no one may be offended... and of course this only leads to everyone being offended.

I doubt that the citizens of Rome saw the Dark Ages coming... It slipped in piece by piece.... and we are now seeing the Dark come back..
