Porn in Calfornia and money

Oh, I don't know.....

LOS ANGELES - California state lawmakers are considering an unusual idea to solve the state's huge budget shortfall: Tax pornography......

The idea was proposed by a state assemblyman, and would impose a 25 percent tax on the production and sales of pornographic videos -- the vast majority of which are made in southern California....

However, many economists believe that pornography is an industry with inelastic demand....

Perhaps the assemblyman needs to get a better hand on his idea.

He could do research at that porn joint on Centruy Blvd near LAX that advertises, and has for years.... "Live Nude!"

I have never been tempted.. I mean...As opposed to what.. "Dead Nude!!!??" Hey, it's a stretch, but after all, it is Los Angeles........ Probably has Pet Rocks as bartenders...

Porn and Politics

Al Franken does his trick

Franken writes of sitting in a virtual sex machine and choosing his preferred setting, then describes and evaluates the act. Later, he investigates other parts of the fictional institute and participates in other sexual acts that he describes.

In the same article, Franken jokes about his 12-year-old son researching a report on bestiality and using the Internet “to download some effective visual aids.” He makes up fake statistics comparing Playboy readers with readers of Hustler magazine.

but the Repubs never learn....In Democratic politics that is called resume enhancement.....

;-)

And my thanks to whoever I snitched that from..
