Netherlands back in the news

At a fashion show to promote tolerance of gay people on April 30, a national holiday in Holland, celebrating the birthday of the late Queen Juliana, a group of ten Muslim youths dragged gay model Mike Du Pree down from the catwalk, beating him up and breaking his nose. A second model who tried to help out was also attacked.

If this had happened in Dothan, Al or Jackson,
MS or Someplace, MT
and if the attackers were "red necks" the MSM would have been in high dungeon and condemning such a despicable act.

And rightly so.

But have it done in what used to be one of the most tolerant cities in the world by a group of Muslims and the MSM is silent.

And that is a despicable act.

But there is nothing new in this. I ask you. How can people who claim to be "progressive" not condemn gay bashing, gay killing....honor killings....no education for females...riots over cartoons... and the list goes on.

There is a word that describes this. And that word is hypocrisy. Pure hypocrisy in the name of political correctness that is too frightened to offend.

I find them no better and no different than the friends and supporters of the gay bashers in the US.

By their inaction both groups are promoting harm to gays and lesbians.

Shame on them. And they had best never try and tell me they are morally superior to anyone.

Because they are not.
