Trouble is brewing over United States ice hockey goalie Jonathan Quick and the “Support Our Troops” slogan on his helmet. Slogans of this sort are banned under Olympic rules and Quick will be told to remove it, the International Ice Hockey Federation has told Reuters.



IOC rules forbid political propoganda or advertisements being placed on equipment. “If the players don’t agree with the interpretation they can ask the USOC (United States Olympic Committee) to petition the IOC.”

It is way, way, way, way, past time that we told the IOC to kiss our asses and walk away from this nest of ungrateful despicable drones.

A Brazilian soldiers dead

The Dept of Defense briefed the President this morning.

They told President Obama that 2 Brazilian soldiers were killed in Iraq.

To every one's surprise, he collapsed onto his desk, head in his hands, visibly shaken, almost in tears.

Finally, he composed himself and asked, 'Just how many is a Brazilian?'

Joe the Plumber is angry.

Well, Joe the Plumber feels that McCain used him after the press when postal over his question to The Chosen One that resulted in Obamie telling The Only Truth He Spoke in the campaign.

That he wanted to spread the wealth around.

And McCain did, to the extent that McCain's references to what Joe said fueled the flames of hatred against Joe by the Left and their handmaidens and water boys in the press.

Within hours the claims about Joe multiplied faster than a strep infection and proved just as hard to stamp out. Among the many was:

His name is not Joe. Wrong.

The Lefties had a grand time with Joe. In the article linked to we find this claim by Amblinder:

Of course that wasn't truthful, but hey! Joe dared corner Obamie so he must be punished!

Let's look at some facts:

“We have his named spelled W-O, instead of W-U,” Linda Howe, executive director of the Lucas County Board of Elections, said in a telephone interview. “Handwriting is sometimes hard to read. He has never corrected it in his registration card.”

Uh Linda.... Why would he correct anything? You can't read his handwriting. Who knew? Have you called him up? Left a message? Sent a letter?

"Dear Joe..... Oh How I hate to write.... But I can't read your signature... Will you help me get it right?"

And in the madness and desire to attack Joe that followed his question to The Chosen one, some state employees over reached and and wound up paying the price after multiple complaints and investigations.

Wurzelbacher said the (state) employees accessed his personal information to retaliate against him for speaking out against Obama.

Jones-Kelley and Williams have resigned, while Thompson lost his job after Inspector General Tom Charles found that confidential personal information was improperly accessed.

Attorney General Richard Cordray, a Democrat, said he is obligated to defend the employees because the lawsuit claims the illegal actions were done in the course of their work for the state.

And the most amazing thing of all, while the press and Leftie bloggers tore at Joe in all their fury, not one of them asked Obamie for his birth certificate....who paid for his trip to Muslim countries after his first year in school... how he jumped from a small state school in California to an elite school... why he associated with the self-identified terrorist William Ayers...

They wound up knowing more about a plumber from Ohio than they did about a candidate for President of the United States.



Think about it.

And the press claims to not understand why they have lost respect and why newspapers are failing.

An explanation as to why the Left hates Palin

The fear exhibited by the Leftie Population, not only here but nationwide, is like nothing I have seen in my 70 plus years.

The nearest thing I can think of having actually seen, was the reaction of a group of under performing sales people to the addition of a high performance sales person to the group. But even that, though similar, was no where near as viscous and dishonest, even though careers were on the line, as what Palin brings out.

I think part of it is politics. Palin has reached a large group of people that the Right was not reaching and provided focus. This frightens the Left because both sides must command the middle to win, and the Left is now losing that battle.

Part of it is hatred of women by some men. Like hatred of Jews, some Lefties pick it up and carry it all of their lives.

Part of it is jealousy by women. Especially women who have embraced the Leftie belief system that they are limited by the "system" as to what they can do.

But most of it is fear they will lose power and no longer command the attention and audience that has given them fame and fortune. This extends all the way down from the Gollywooders and chattering class to the bloggers who have started rumors and lied in the hopes that they will be noticed by the minions at MSNBC and CNN.

People hate things they fear.

And since it is not possible to explain all of this every time it is needed to be done, I have coined three new words.

Sarahphobic or Saraphobia or Sarahphobe.

He has also admitted that his Climatic Research Unit has lost much of the data behind the “hockey-stick” graph, via which Michael Mann and other Climategate conspirators had falsely attempted to demonstrate that the Medieval Warm Period was not warmer than the present.
