Senior citizens contribute

As we get older we sometimes begin to doubt our ability to "make a difference" in the world. It is at these times that our hopes are boosted by the remarkable achievements of other "seniors" who have found the courage to take on challenges that would make many of us wither. Harold Sclumberg is such a person.













I've often been asked, 'What do you old folks do now that you're retired'? Well..I'm fortunate to have a chemical engineering background, and one of the things I enjoy most is turning beer, wine, Scotch, and margaritas into urine.

Obama has refused to prove that he is an American.

He was taught in Muslim schools for the first 9 years of his life and since then his only known religious/moral/cultural teaching has been as a 20 year member of a Black Liberation church in which the minister cursed America.

His friends and political associates have been felons and self-identified terrorists.
During college he made a world tour of Muslim countries, evidently paid for by Muslims.

His first interview as President was given to Muslim media.

His comments to our enemies have only been to apologize and announce that America is no longer a Christian nation.

He has stopped the installation of our missile defense in Poland making us vulnerable to missiles from Iran.

Although he knows that Iran is developing nuclear weapons he refuses to do anything but issue weak demands they stop.

He has tried to destroy the democratic government in Honduras in favor of a Left wing friend of Chavez, a well known Left Wing Dictator.

By not providing the resources needed for our troops in Afghanistan and his other statements he has boosted the morale of the radical Muslim terrorists and thus is complicit in the deaths of our troops.

He has asked for and approved debt that is destroying our currency and will choke our children and their children's children.

He has stopped drilling for new oil and the development of oil shale. He has asked for and received a bill that favors the bogus "man made global warming" that will destroy what little of our economy that is Left.

Simply put he has become a joke to the world and a danger to the country.
I call on Congress to remove him from office.

Arianna and Donna defend Obama

I don't watch the Sunday morning talking head shows very much. Church and other things get in the way. But I picked this link to ABC's talking heads from TalkLeft.

The initial piece is about Obamie's gift of the Nobel prize donated by the not so noble committee and George Will is screamingly funny... But even more interesting is coming to the conclusion that the committee's actions in giving The Chosen One the prize makes a lot more sense than ABC's decision to employ Arianna Hiffington.

And after watching Donna Braizle I just can't help wanting to button up the pocket I have my wallet in and backing into a corner that will let me see all the windows and doors in the room.

Sour grapes? Envy? Well, not just for me.... but also for the 200 million or so other Americans who could do a better job.
