This is not climate change this is politics.....

and the politics is "Hate America" and "Give Us Your Money."

Cancun, Mexico - Bolivian President Evo Morales called Thursday to save the Kyoto Protocoland to create an international climate justice tribunal.

Morales called delegates to discuss not just the effects of climate change, but also its consequences, which he blamed on capitalism.

'We have the obligation to change those policies,' he said.

We desperately need a President to go on TV and say:

"You can have your court. We will keep our military."

Why? Because these idiots, and Morales is clearly an idiot, think they can make us destroy our country.

But know what??? Maybe they can with the help of President "My wife is waiting" and the environmental wackos that have grown like poison ivy in the country.

College students hoax the hoaxers

If it wasn't so sad it would be screamingly funny.

Some people will sign anything that includes phrases like, ”global effort,” “international community,” and “planetary.” Such was the case at COP 16, this year’s United Nations Conference on Climate Change in Cancun, Mexico.

This year, CFACT students created two mock-petitions to test U.N. Delegates. The first asked participants to help destabilize the United States economy, the second to ban water.

The first project, entitled “Petition to Set a Global Standard” sought to isolate and punish the United States of America for defying the international community, by refusing to bite, hook, line and sinker on the bait that is the Kyoto Protocol. The petition went so far as to encourage the United Nations to impose tariffs and trade restrictions on the U.S. in a scheme to destabilize the nation’s economy. Specifically, the scheme seeks to lower the U.S. GDP by 6% over a ten year period, unless the U.S. signs a U.N. treaty on global warming.

This would be an extremely radical move by the United Nations. Even so, radical left-wing environmentalists from around the world scrambled eagerly to sign.

The second project was as successful as the first. It was euphemistically entitled “Petition to Ban the Use of Dihydrogen Monoxide (DHMO)” (translation water). It was designed to show that if official U.N. delegates could be duped by college students into banning water, that they could essentially fall for anything, including pseudo-scientific studies which claim to show that global warming is man-caused.

Now these are the people that the Left wants to turn over our country to in the name of preventing global warming.

As Forest Gump said, "Stupid is as stupid does."

Oil expected to go over $100 a barrel

All kidding aside, it was the rapid run up of oil prices in the spring of 2008 that finished off the economy. Now we see it happening all over again. Except we have no reserves this time.

Congress has dithered and blathered for almost 30 months. Speculators must be forced out of this market immediately. Obama must take back his drilling freeze comments....

.... of course he won't because he wants the economy destroyed.....

And people who buy oil futres MUST be able to take delivery of the product.  That'll slow'em down and bring reality back into the market.

A new Canadian Wine

FINALLY..............

New Wine for the 50+

I kid you not.... New Wine for Seniors

Canadian vintners in the Niagara Valley area, which primarily produce Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir and Pinot Grigio wines, have developed a new hybrid grape that acts as an anti-diuretic. It is expected to reduce the number of trips older people will have to make to the bathroom during the night.

The new wine will be marketed as

PINO MORE

Hat tip to Claudia!!

And I must add that I will order a case as soon as it is available for export.

Bits and pieces 12/8

I hate cold weather. I hate cold weather. I hate cold weather.

Oh how I hope Global Warming is real.

Don Meredith is dead at age 72. I never saw him play but he entertained me on Monday Night Football with his humor. Plus he had the nerve to tell the truth. If a game was over in the third quarter his winsome rendition of, “Turn Out the Lights’ (the party’s over) told us it was okay to just enjoy the world and leave the game to those who felt that football was the end all of everything.

Now we have five pro games every week and a plethora of “color men” and announcers who explain every twitch and strategy. Yet none of them have the nerve to say, “That was stupid,” when the coach calls a running play when his running backs have not yet gone more two yards and it is fourth and 10 with 2 minutes left in the game.

The fatter we get the sportier we become.

Oh how I hope Global Warning is real.

Speaking of sports, one of the more amusing things lately has been watching Auburn and the NACAA twist and turn and parse to keep Cam Newton eligible.

Not that I care. He’s a great player and I have long maintained that the players in the NFL’s minor leagues, aka college football, should be paid up front in plain view…. Say about $30K/year each.

I hate cold weather. I hate cold weather. I hate cold weather.

Last spring I got into Little League coaching. Not next spring I tell myself. I am tired of listening to parents complain why Junior, who actually would rather be anyplace than in a Little League game, isn’t playing the position they think will place him in line for stardom.

I hate cold weather. I hate cold weather. I hate cold weather.

I wonder if all those people, who say that it is our fault that Assange is destroying our feeble amounts at diplomacy because we failed to protect our secrets, would agree that if they left their car unlocked with their wallets on the dash it is okay if a thief steals it.

I find this video interesting.

Sharia Law

Frightening, isn’t it. I mean the fact that probably 97% of Americans do not know anything about Sharia law and the aim of the extremist Muslims to have it the law of the world.

I hate cold weather.

Oh how I hope global warming is real.

A talking frog??

A guy is 72years old and loves to fish.

He was sitting in his boat the other day when he heard a voice say,

'Pick me up.'

He looked around and couldn't see anyone.

He thought he was dreaming when he heard the voice say again,

'Pick me up.'

He looked in the water and there, floating on the top, was a frog.

The man said, 'Are you talking to me?'

The frog said, 'Yes, I'm talking to you.'

Pick me up then, kiss me and I'll turn into the most beautiful woman you have ever seen.

I'll make sure that all your friends are envious and jealous because I will be your bride!'

The man looked at the frog for a short time,

reached over, picked it up carefully, and placed it in his front pocket.

The frog said, 'What, are you nuts? Didn't you hear what I said? I said kiss me and I will be your beautiful bride.'

He opened his pocket, looked at the frog and said,

'Nah, at my age I'd rather have a talking frog.'
