Newfoundland and Labrador Premier Danny Williams will be sidelined from three to 12 weeks because of heart surgery he'll undergo at an undisclosed location in the United States, acting premier Kathy Dunderdale says

Now why would he be coming here?

I though the Canadian system was better than the US........

..yes, I agree, that's what the right wing wants. Because the right wing likes terrorists, and believe that they are a nation we are in combat with, rather than criminals. In effect, the right wing is recognizing the cause of the terrorists and agree that they support a working government.

The Lame Stream Media fails again

Why I call the Lame Stream Media the Lame Stream Media.

This from today's "Meet The Press." The subject is trying KSM and other terrorists in New York City.

(Axlerod).....Under those protocols, the attorney general decided to bring Khalid Sheikh Mohammed back to New York to stand trial for his crime for the murder of 3,000 innocent people, and he wanted to do it near the, the site of, of the crime itself. He wanted to do what the Bush administration did over and over and over again

Now I think it is correct to say that if Bush did not exist the Obamie camp would be in deep doo doo. And beyond that I think it is correct to say that none of the terrorists tried by Bush and Clinton were captured outside the US.

Yet Gregory just let it slide on by. Way to to David! Skip one for your Leader!

Bottom line. To the elites of this country terrorism and a QuickiMart robbery are one and the same.

Just when you think things can’t get any more bizarre with the IPCC, having just learned that the IPPC 2007 report used magazine articles for references, head of the IPCC, Dr. Rajenda Pachauri, provides comedy gold. According to the UK Telegraph, he’s just released what they describe as a “smutty” romance novel, Return to Almora laced with steamy sex, lots of sex. Oh, and Shirley MacLaine.

Well, after all, he is the Guru of man made global warming......

How the Republicans should meet with the President.

I watched Obamie and the Repubs today. It was a masterful lecture by the Prez to a bunch of dummies who allowed him to get away with saying what he wanted to say when he wanted to say it.

I offer the following suggestions.

When the Prez refers to you by your first name it is okay to remind him him that you are "Congressman Jones" and expect to be called by that name.

In other words, quit twisting like a bunch of puppies when he says, "Bob, you be stupid," or some other similar comment. You are a Congressman. Act like it.

Ask simple direct questions. Don't give a speech on the evils of mankind and then close with a two word question. Try this.

"Will you support an across the board tax cut? Please limit your answer to yes or no."

And when he starts rambling, interrupt and repeat the question.

If the session is about jobs, nix the off subject questions.

If he gets upset, let him. His snotty persona will, if you give him the opportunity, show itself to your advantage. Pay no attention to the Lame Stream Media if they start to whine you are being disrespectful. Your friends and Independents won't care and to hell with your enemies.

And I find it amazing that I had to lecture you folks on such basics.
