Obama quote of the day for 1-11-10
We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK. That's not leadership. That's not going to happen.
And may I say he has a done a great job of destroying our economy, laying the foundation of us becoming a UN caliphate and surrendering to the radical Muslims.
It is not that he is evil, but that he is inept. He doesn't understand that it is not what you know that will hurt you but rather what you don't know.
Unfortunately while ignorance can be cured through education stupidity is forever.

British female reports rape in Dubai and is then jailed
Ah yes, another factoid you won't hear about on the Lame Stream Media.... And of course the National Organization of Women stands speechless.

The question continues as to why NOW and the Left ignores such as this. My theory remains that they are more interested in attacking the US than attacking such things as this. In a strange, "Enemy of my enemy is my friend" way, the Left is allied with the people who do things such as this.
Oh well, at least they haven't stoned her.... yet. Even sadder is that Dubai seems to be one of the most liberal and modern Islamic states.

A woman from London who went to police in Dubai to report she had been raped was then arrested for having sex with her fiance, it has been reported.
The 23-year-old said she was assaulted by a waiter in a hotel toilet after celebrating her engagement to her 44-year-old boyfriend, according to The Sun.
But when she reported the alleged rape to police in the Middle Eastern state, she and her boyfriend were held for having sex outside marriage and illegal drinking outside licensed premises, the paper said.
It is understood the couple have been bailed but are still in Dubai.
A cellmate of the woman told The Sun: "She's a British girl but a Muslim, so I think they were tougher on her because of that.
"She was trying to report the rape but soon realised the policemen were more interested in how often she has sex with her boyfriend."

Senator Reid disses Obama
Why, I bet some of his best friends are blacks.
WASHINGTON – The top Democrat in the U.S. Senate apologized on Saturday for comments he made about Barack Obama's race during the 2008 presidential bid and are quoted in a yet-to-be-released book about the campaign.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada described in private then-Sen. Barack Obama as "light skinned" and "with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one." Obama is the nation's first African-American president.
I'll bet you $2.00 to a dime that this gets no real play in the Lame Stream Media.

The Commentator's Comment Award 1-9-10
As you know this award has high standards and is dedicated to showing you comments that provide a clear view of the person making the comment. I shift through, oh maybe 30 or 40 a day looking for examples.
It is not often that we have two awards in two days but when I find one of such quality as this one I have to act.

a potentially health endangering trend popular amongst political conservatives, and first diagnosed by researcher Bill Hicks in the ninties, is now being discussed as a major contributing factor in the recent hospitalization of Rush Limbaugh.
Limbaugh's devoted fans remain skeptical, as this theory would seem to contradict Limbaugh's hard-line stance against recycling.
