I certainly am not one. In fact, I didn't even sleep in a Holiday Inn Express last night, but I think this is plain enough for any dufus to understand.

Article IV - The States

Section 1 - Each State to Honor all others

Full Faith and Credit shall be given in each State to the public Acts, Records, and judicial Proceedings of every other State. And the Congress may by general Laws prescribe the Manner in which such Acts, Records and Proceedings shall be proved, and the Effect thereof.

Section 2 - State citizens, Extradition

The Citizens of each State shall be entitled to all Privileges and Immunities of Citizens in the several States.

What that says is that that all the goodies and all the badies (keeping it simple for the Lefties who read this) are to be shared equally.

Obviously having the citizens of the other 49 states pay for the benefits that only Nebraska is to receive is wrong. As I noted, the last time we created two separate groups of states, slavery legal and slavery illegal, the final result was a country torn apart.

It is obvious that the Leftie Democrats working for Obamie The Bower do not care about such minor items as the Constitution. Indeed, it is doubtful that Obamie the Bower has any respect for anything beyond what is in the UN bylaws/treaties and, most likely, the Koran.

As some of the more careful readers here have read and should remember, I have written that I have no particular problem with a single payer system, that's Universal Health Care, modeled on Medicare. The rub comes, as it always does, in paying for "entitlements."

I have said that it should be paid for by a National Sales Tax, collected at the point of sale. This would insure that we all, including drug dealers, other criminals, flea market dealers and illegal aliens, pay our fair share.

This bill does not even provide Universal Coverage and will be paid for by the middle class. And "No Virginia, there is no Santa Claus" from the rich to do so.

Instead to pay for this for his base of uneducated and over educated mostly never do anything and never do well minions, Obamie The Bower has decided to have the elderly of the country pay for it by stripping Medicare of $500 billion. That this will create shortages and rationing is denied by the Lefties, but even they know by experience, that when the money runs out before the monthly check arrives, be it from Uncle Sugar or Daddy, shortages and denials of services is the norm.

As a country we are in dire straits. If we actually had a Congress of responsible men and women I would feel more comfortable. As it is, I see only people who love power and will sell their souls to keep keep it.

Nebraska given a free pass... Nelson sells his soul...Democrats divide country

A canary was used for hundreds of years as a early warning detector of grave danger from poison gas in mines. I use it to signify a similar situation in the political world.

Nelson secured full federal funding for his state to expand Medicaid coverage to all individuals below 133 percent of the federal poverty level. Other states must pay a small portion of the additional cost. He won concessions for qualifying nonprofit insurers and for Medigap providers from a new insurance tax, and was able to roll back cuts to health savings accounts

.

This far beyond the $300 million pork given to Louisiana for New Orleans and the graft that will come with that. This telling the other 49 states that they are not equal to Nebraska. The citizens of Nebraska are better than us. They don't have to pay and their businesses don't have to pay.

This has got to be unconstitutional. The last time we tried treating one state differently than other states.... some Free and some Slave...we wound up in a Civil War.

Refugees in the America get more than a citizen who paid social security

I got this from Jimmy M. I don't know how accurate it is but it sounds just stupid enough to be true.

If this is true this is an insult to all of us...

Get mad and pass it on - I don't know how, but maybe some good will come of this travesty.

If the immigrant is over 65, they can apply for SSI and Medicaid and get more than a woman on Social Security, who worked from 1944 until 2004.

She is only getting $791 per month because she was born in 1924 and there's a 'catch 22'.

It is interesting that the federal government provides a single refugee with a monthly allowance of $1,890.

Each can also obtain an additional $580 in social assistance, for a total of $2,470 a month.

This compares to a single pensioner, who after contributing to the growth and development of America for 40 to 50 years, can only receive a monthly maximum of $1,012 in old age pension and Guaranteed Income Supplement..

Maybe our pensioners should apply as refugees!

Consider sending this to all your American friends, so we can all be ticked off and maybe get the refugees cut back to $1,012 and the pensioners up to $2,470. Then we can enjoy some of the money we were forced to submit to the Government over the last 40 or 50 or 60 years.

Please forward to every American to expose what our elected politicians have been doing over the past years - to the over-taxed American.

Now this assumes that the refugee is actually not an illegal alien with fake papers. And if they are man and wife, is there additional money for him or her? And how about the children.

You know, the idea that we should be taking in the world's problems has come and gone. I feel sorry for these people, but they need to stay in their own country and fix their own problems. By bringing them in, in far too many cases, you wind up with people who don't want to assimilate and become a huge problem. Ask Europe and England about their problems with Muslims who are demanding special treatment in schools, law, etc.

Jesus is watching you

A burglar broke into a house one night. He shined his flashlight around, looking for valuables when a voice in the dark said,

'Jesus knows you're here.'

He nearly jumped out of his skin, clicked his flashlight off, and froze.

When he heard nothing more , after a bit, he shook his head and continued.


Just as he pulled the stereo out so he could disconnect the wires, clear as a bell he heard

'Jesus is watching you.'

Freaked out, he shined his light around frantically, looking for the source of the voice.

Finally, in the corner of the room, his flashlight beam came to rest on a parrot.

'Did you say that?' he hissed at the parrot.

'Yep', the parrot confessed, then squawked, 'I'm just trying to warn you that he is watching you.'

The burglar relaxed. 'Warn me, huh? Who in the world are you?'

'Moses,' replied the bird.

'Moses?' the burglar laughed. 'What kind of people would name a bird Moses?'


'The kind of people that would name a Rottweiler Jesus.'

It's the sun, stupid

With snow falling at a 2 inches per hour rate in Washington, DC and two feet expected, perhaps some of our elected idiots can quit talking about man made global warming and do some research.

Dr. Kenneth Tapping....a solar researcher and project director for Canada's National Research Council....is worried about the sun. Solar activity comes in regular cycles, but the latest one is refusing to start. Sunspots have all but vanished, and activity is suspiciously quiet. The last time this happened was 400 years ago -- and it signaled a solar event known as a "Maunder Minimum," along with the start of what we now call the "Little Ice Age."

Researcher Dr. Timothy Patterson, director of the Geoscience Center at Carleton University, shares the concern. Patterson is finding "excellent correlations" between solar fluctuations, a relationship that historically, he says doesn't exist between CO2 and past climate changes. According to Patterson. we shouldn't be surprised by a solar link. "The sun [is] the ultimate source of energy on this planet," he says.

Such research dates back to 1991, when the Danish Meteorological Institute released a study showing that world temperatures over the past several centuries correlated very closely with solar cycles. A 2004 study by the Max Planck Institute found a similar correlation, but concluded the timing was only coincidental, as the solar variance seemed too small to explain temperature changes.

However, researchers at DMI continued to work, eventually discovering what they believe to be the link. The key factor isn't changes in solar output, but rather changes in the sun's magnetosphere A stronger field shields the earth more from cosmic rays, which act as "seeds" for cloud formation. The result is less cloud cover, and a warming planet. When the field weakens, clouds increases, reflecting more light back to space, and the earth cools off.

Muslim father kills daughter in "honor killing"

Just what we need to make sure the daughters don't get out of line... Burka Barbie.. But it didn't help this girl.

London: Father convicted of honor killing charges

Mehmet Goren, the father of 15-year-old Muslim schoolgirl Tulay Goren, has been convicted of her murder in a family "honour killing" in London.

Tulay, who had come to Britain from the Kurdish region of Turkey, was drugged, tortured and then killed by her father Mehmet Goren, over her relationship with an older man of whom Mehment Goren and his relations did not approve.

The trial heard how Tulay, who came to Britain at the age of 12, was assaulted by her father, a Shia Muslim, who was angered by her relationship with Mr Unal, who was twice her age and a Sunni Muslim.

In the weeks before her disappearance, Tulay ran away from home twice and personally reported two attacks on her by her father. Her boyfriend also reported an assault.

However, despite Tulay's refusal to go home, she was lured back three weeks later, in January 1999, and disappeared the next day.

Think about this. This is the type of thing that Obamie The Bower thinks we can just ignore and sweep under the rug.
