Deconstructing Obama

"The time has come," the Walrus said,
"To talk of many things:
Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
And whether pigs have wings."

Grant M has sent me an email that has several interesting points.
I think he now owes the white voter..if I where Black I would be worrying..Remember Bubba Clinton started Welfare Reform..he owes Blacks nothing......

I think Grant is right in that H could not have won without the white voters, but H isn't Bubba. Clinton moved to the center because he was more of the center, especially after Waco, Somali and his tax increase chopped his poll ratings sharply. Plus, Hillary's botched attempt at being Copresident must have scared the dickens out of him. He had no real ideology.

And I agree with what Grant was trying to write in "he owes the blacks nothing," but I believe Grant meant H owes them everything, but doesn't have to pay them anything.

That the black voter has been willing to support Democrats with no real reward outside of putting up with the likes of Jesse and Al is a fact. That this was done on a national basis made, I think, people feel good but accomplished nothing. Bush did more with the appointment of Rice and Powell than the Demos did in 30 years. But because he wouldn't agree with the far Left that the country is responsible for all wrongs, he received no credit for providing an international stage where it could be demonstrated that intelligence, talent and hard work has nothing do with race.

Hussein, unlike Clintoin, does have an ideology. Read his history, what slim amount is available, and we see a man who found his way to Marxism. How much he will be able to harm the country is yet to be seen, but you can count on a hellish fight to:

1. Bring the (un)Fairness Doctrine back.

2. Censor the Internet.

3. Pass criminal laws to punish "racism" comments.

If they accomplish anyone of those the country is in trouble. Pass all three and the country is gone.
"But wait a bit," the Oysters cried,
"Before we have our chat;
For some of us are out of breath,
And all of us are fat!"
"No hurry!" said the Carpenter.
They thanked him much for that.

And while H clearly owes the white voters for moving past racism, I don't think he feels he owes them anything, and perhaps people shouldn't be "owed" for doing the right thing. But I believe there was a significant amount of reverse bias in the votes of many whites on the Left.
"But not on us!" the Oysters cried,
Turning a little blue.
"After such kindness, that would be
A dismal thing to do!"
"The night is fine," the Walrus said.
"Do you admire the view?

Hussein is a complex person, perhaps the most complex to be elected President since Nixon. And like Nixon I think he harbors bitterness.
"It seems a shame," the Walrus said,
"To play them such a trick,
After we've brought them out so far,
And made them trot so quick!"
The Carpenter said nothing but
"The butter's spread too thick!"

"I weep for you," the Walrus said:
"I deeply sympathize."
With sobs and tears he sorted out
Those of the largest size,
Holding his pocket-handkerchief
Before his streaming eyes.

Bitterness against whites because he feels whites were the reason his father abandoned him. I mean he has no criticism for him leaving. More bitterness against whites because he feels that they gave him things he deserved, but still they demanded something in return. Note that he has never belonged to or served anything that was not useful to him in a personal sense.

So, we'll see. The market has a fever this morning. In the coming months we will know if it is a case of the sniffles or cancer.
"O Oysters," said the Carpenter,
"You've had a pleasant run!
Shall we be trotting home again?'
But answer came there none--
And this was scarcely odd, because
They'd eaten every one.

Kenya parties for Hussein

There's only one thing to take to a Kenyan election victory feast: a goat. Preferably still breathing - “a sign of freshness“ - and with big testicles, apparently the sign of quality breeding.

Well, you voted for him...

How Obama will bankrupt the coal industry and destroy the US economy.

Hussein's promise to bankrupt the coal companies may have grabbed a few people's attention. This is how it will be done.

I wrote the following on the subject back on June 1.

How much will the Senate's Global Warming bill cost us?

Well, we don't know. But we do know that the law will be structured around the cost of carbon dioxide emitted. So the question becomes, how do we measure it? (A better sentence would have been... how do we determine the amount of carbon per source?)

Here is how.

Now, if you have read the link, you know that burning a gallon of gasoline produces 20 pounds of carbon.

So, what's the cost?

In Europe, where permits to emit carbon have been trading since 2005, it now costs nearly $40 to emit a ton of carbon.

Now, if your car is tagged as a 20MPG car, if you drive it 1000 miles, you will have used 50 gallons.... that's 1000 pounds of carbon... or a half of a ton.. or $20. or 2cents a mile... or if you drive 30,000 miles a year that's $600.00 or $50.00 per month. Have two cars? $100 a month.. Of course the Demos will want a special "second car permit." Cost unknown.

For absolutely no reason other than the desire of the Environmental Wackos to run the world.

And carbon comes from many places, including when you breath, how much you breath and how fast....

Wanna have sex with your significant other?? Sorry. You have exceeded your carbon production allowance... And no cheating! And yes... in spite of what Clinton said, a BJ is having sex...

And, of course, that is gasoline. Coal is different, and will vary based on type of coal, but as an example:

Complete combustion of 1 short ton (2,000 pounds) of this coal will generate about 5,720 pounds (2.86 short tons) of carbon dioxide.

So for every ton that your utility burns to produce electricity, they will have to pay $114.40 or not produce electricity.

Can you see your electric bill costing $500 a month???

Link

Of course the next question is, who gets the money?

If I understand "cap and trade," what your utility will do is find someone who isn't emitting carbon and buy "their right to omit X amount of carbon."

A central authority (usually a government or international body) sets a limit or cap on the amount of a pollutant that can be emitted. Companies or other groups are issued emission permits and are required to hold an equivalent number of allowances (or credits) which represent the right to emit a specific amount. The total amount of allowances and credits cannot exceed the cap, limiting total emissions to that level. Companies that need to increase their emission allowance must buy credits from those who pollute less. The transfer of allowances is referred to as a trade. In effect, the buyer is paying a charge for polluting, while the seller is being rewarded for having reduced emissions by more than was needed. Thus, in theory, those that can easily reduce emissions most cheaply will do so, achieving the pollution reduction at the lowest possible cost to society.[

Link

Let's break it on down.

The cap: Each large-scale emitter, or company, will have a limit on the amount of greenhouse gas that it can emit. The firm must have an “emissions permit” for every ton of carbon dioxide it releases into the atmosphere.

First there is no reason to believe the "large-scale emitter" description. Government is always eager to grasp more power and more money, so expect to see this all the way down to your local Pancake House and Joe The Plumber's shop. And to your automobiles, lawn mowers, boats, etc., etc.

The next question is, how do you measure the emissions? I am sure there are ways, but they are expensive to do on... say a Delta Faucet or Whirlpool factory. So up front there is a huge cost that the consumer will have to pay, or.... gasp.... the factories will simply be moved to China and India and other countries that have told us to stick our man made global warming hoax in our ear.

And then we have the issue of setting the limits. Since politics are involved, the limits will reflect politics and political correctness. A chicken farm producing "free range" chickens might get X while a conventional chicken farm would get X plus 50... all in the name of good health and encouraging our practice of same....

Vehicles would be the easiest thing in the world. When you register and get your tags the miles driven is recorded and subtracted from the previous number. The answer is then divided by the manufactures "average" number, said number being approved by the government, to get the gallons of fuel, multiplied as shown above for the carbon and then taxed at whatever the current amount is.

How about an additional $2000.00, or so, to register your car???

The above is going to happen. You can write it down.

The trade: It will be relatively cheaper or easier for some companies to reduce their emissions below their required limit than others. These more efficient companies, who emit less than their allowance, can sell their extra permits to companies that are not able to make reductions as easily. This creates a system that guarantees a set level of overall reductions, while rewarding the most efficient companies and ensuring that the cap can be met at the lowest possible cost to the economy.

This almost makes sense if you were within the same industries, and if they did the same things the same way using the same equipment. But they don't.

Jet Blue, for example, goes coast to coast non-stop. They use less fuel than United who, on some flights, will fly NY to Chcago to LAX. But wait! Jet Blue is flying older (example only)aircraft than United so United is using less fuel. But wait! Jet Blue is carrying more passengers, so they are using less fuel per passenger mile. But wait! That is only true during the holiday season, United is better on non holiday....

The above makes my head explode, but it is absolutely perfect for bureaucrats.

And worse, it will stop plant expansion because no company, especially manufacturing companies, will be able to know their costs before the program is implemented. Since anything like this will take two or three years, all expansion will be overseas in countries that have told us to stick our man made global warming hoax in our ear.... but I repeat myself.

What it does is take money from politically unpopular industries/companies and send it to politically favored companies. Now do you understand why T. Boone Pickens, and his major stock holder Democratic Speaker of the House and Saver of the World and Polar Bears, Nancy Pelosi favor this?? T. Boone and Nancy P are selling wind and natural gas, both lessor carbon producers than coal.

Now, do you understand why the Democrats, including The Chosen One, have had to be forced into muttering, "I favor clean coal technologies, too."

Now we come to the money.

The profits: If the federal government auctions the emissions permits to the companies required to reduce their emissions, it would create a large and dependable revenue stream......

Initial estimates by the Congressional Budget Office project that an economy-wide cap-and-trade program would generate at least $50 billion per year, but could reach up to $300 billion. Approximately 10 percent of this revenue should be allocated to help offset costs to businesses and shareholders of affected industries. Of the remaining revenue, approximately half should be devoted to help offset any energy price increases for low- and middle-income Americans that may occur as a result of the transition to more efficient energy sources. The other half of the remaining revenue should be used to invest in renewable energy, efficiency, low-carbon transportation technologies, green-collar job training, and the transition to a low-carbon economy.....

Read the above and let it soak in for a minute.... $300 billion dollars a year is $1000 a year per person in the US. And that does include the revenues from personal licenses to drive a car.

So if you voted for Hussein today, congratulations. You have just participated in the destruction of the US economy and the world's longest existing democracy.

Be proud.

Philip Busse, the St. Olaf College professor who admitted to stealing campaign signs in a national political blog read by millions, has resigned.

St. Olaf spokesman David Gonnerman issued the following statement Monday afternoon:

"The St. Olaf College administration first learned of Phil Busse's self-admitted theft and destruction of campaign signs on the morning of Oct. 31 as a result of his posting on the Internet.

"The St. Olaf administration immediately referred the matter to local law enforcement authorities and commenced an investigation of its own.

"Mr. Busse has tendered his resignation and is no longer affiliated with St. Olaf College.

"In a statement issued on Friday, the administration made clear that Mr. Busse's actions were in direct conflict with the college's values and mission and that the college did not in any way condone them.

"The statement also declared that St. Olaf College deplores unlawful interference with political campaigns and expression of speech.

"Mr. Busse had a one-semester temporary visiting appointment to teach one course in introductory media studies for the college during the fall term."

Busse was also charged with misdemeanor theft after confessing to the Rice County Sheriff’s department that he took three McCain/Palin yard signs, said Sergeant Dave Stensrud of the Rice County Sheriff’s Office.

Report from canaryville - Brussells

`
While we argue over Hussein's obvious lack of qualifications, yet accept that he may actually win, the world goes on.

I have noted before that Europe is the canary in the coal mine, and that the canary is sick. Yet we pay scant attention to what is happening.

The following are excerts from an article that should send terror into your heart and make you decide to, finally perhaps, teach your own children and grandchildren about the blessings of western civilization and what can happen.

In fact, it is already happening.

This is from the BrusselsJournal.

What we need is to reconstitute as a tribe, with its own culture, totems and taboos (which will be explored in subsequent installments). We need to realize that the overwhelming majority of the nonwhite minorities in our countries act as tribes, and our white Pod elites act as pathfinders and enforcers for these tribes, against us.

To expand a Middle Eastern precept, this is the essence of Third World tribalism:

Me against my brother; me and my brother against our cousin; me, my brother and our cousin against the neighbors; our neighborhood against the city; our city against the country.

That is a philsophy that has brought the so-called Arab world to where it is now. Do we want it in the West?

Even on a milder level, with America’s 45 million Hispanics for instance, in-group membership trumps civic membership. It’s a tribal phalanx competing for money, jobs, political and cultural influence against a much larger but thinly spread ragtag crew of whites devoid of common purpose or identity.

70% of Hispanics support Obama; 21% support McCain. The votes go to where the Hispanic gravy train is longer, and the border open wider. In a country where presidential elections can be decided by a margin of 0.5 % of the votes, the fatal dullness of three generations of Americans has transferred control over their nation largely to the citizens of Mexico.

Note that immigration has not even been mentioned in our election. Hussein's open borders position is known and approved of by the Left. McCain's reluctant "close the borders" position hasn't been seen since the primaries. Yet McCain's reluctance to condemn Hussein's position and embrace "closed borders" might have brought him 2% from Bob Barr's followers. That 2% might give him the election. His not saying anything has not hurt him one bit with the 21% of Hispanics who support him.

The disgrace of persecuting, ruining and jailing good men for the crime of “racism” seems to be a Belgian specialty that few outsiders know except who read this Webzine and a few blogs of limited reach. Recently, Bart Debie was punished for “racism” with a one year prison sentence, a fine of 30,000 euros, loss of his political and civil rights, loss of his police career and loss of his elected position on the Antwerp city council – all because some policemen in his unit, without his knowledge, roughed up Belgian Turks who had attacked them with baseball bats and knives.

Are you starting to see that the fight for freedom of speech is now in Europe but is being lost in the US where a Republican Sec of Defense has outlawed the word "Islamist?" What will happen when a left wing Democrat takes control?

Americans have, so far, preserved more freedoms than Europeans have, but the Obama juggernaut has revealed that roughly 50% of the country, comprising the Pods and the progressives, the socialists and the Marxists, the tribals and the voting illegals, the young, the single females and the sexual deviates (1) want to live in totalitarian Meccania, led by a far-left community organizer drunk on black race-identity.

Already, one can read American headlines like “As Obama era looms, Gates drops 'Islamist' from characterization of terrorism”. Like other tyrannies in history, the Obama regime’s priority will be to disarm their citizen-subjects, even though it violates the American Constitution. The next step will be to muzzle political opponents by enacting the “Fairness Doctrine” – a top priority of the Democratic Party. Conservatives’ access to the only mass medium open to them, radio, will be made financially impossible.

The next steps will then be easier: redistribution of income, redistribution of political power to “minorities” unwilling to wield it according to our proper traditions, and further restriction of any possibilities of effective opposition.

I wonder why our liberal pundits, if any actually still exist, haven't been warning us about this?? As I read them arguing about the strong possibility of violence if Hussein doesn't win, and whether or not Palin is for Cheney's definition of the VP's job I am reminded of Middle Age Priests arguing over how many angels could dance on the head of a pin..... while the Catholic Church became more and more corrupt leading finally to a bloody reformation.

The priests and the pundits are unworthy of their salt.

Being fearful of the truth they will never be able to write it.

Almost Naked Women

All I want to know is why they didn't have something like this that would need repair when I was a Field Engineer?

The lingerie combination set consists of lace bodice, bikini bottom and faux pearl collar, with the GPS device nestled in the see-through part of the bodice next to the waist.

'This collection... is a wink to women and a challenge to men because, even if she gives him the password to her GPS, she can always turn it off,' Lorio said.
